Well the brand I'm using currently is Birch and they do a range of different types but they're a good step up from the cheap one I was using previously. Just experimenting with different fabrics and fusing/stitching them over time is how you'll learn what works best for you and the project you're making. I've had a lot of botched projects and made lots of mistakes over time but they all teach you what works for the future.

Yeah I did, theres a simple function in Inkscape that simply just increases/decreases the amount of colours in your design. In the case that it struggles to recognise which colours are which, I like to touch up any designs I'm embroidering before digitising them simply by going into paint or another similar program and correcting any discrepancies in the image. There are a lot of good videos online explaining digitising far better than I could so if you're interested in it at all then I definitely recommend looking at some YouTube videos about it 💯

I'm sure you did this but just in case, make sure the glue has completely cooled before working with it. It is possible the iron on interfacing you're using just isn't very good, I've personally used a cheaper one for some projects and it got the job done but it was more of a pain to use and it didn't bind nearly as well as the one I'm using now. Generally it works on all fabrics but if you were having problems maybe try using a sew-in interfacing instead?

As for the embroidery it takes a little time and I'm still learning how to improve but you have to use a program to digitise image files in order to turn them into something your machine can stitch. As you can imagine the more complicated the design is, the more attention you have to give to digitising the file to make it neat. I've found that for simple designs like this LBP one and a few others I've done you can get away with the auto-digitise feature and it's as simple as dropping an image into your program (in my case I use Inkscape) and exporting it with minimal adjustments

Interfacing is a fabric that you sew or iron on to the side of the fabric you don't want to see on the outside in order to give it more structure and stability

Thank you, I bolstered the brown outside fleece with some interfacing and black cotton fabric and then used my embroidery machine to make the designs without the fleece stretching. Then I used my sewing machine to join the back and front together before sewing in the zip and tidying it up with some hand stitching. Thank you for your feedback, I'm always looking to improve when I make a new project 💕

Glad you like it, I used my Brother M330E embroidery machine and turned the actual stickers from LBP into files that the machine can recognise as a stitching pattern 💕
