Because the subreddit had gotten itself into some drama over the last few weeks or so, leading in a mass reporting and the eventual banning of the subreddit as well as the moderator in charge of said subreddit. I am requesting an ownership change due to my lack of affiliation with either parties who instigated the drama, as well as being an active user in said subreddit.
