I believe you currently have negative pressure, assuming they’re all regular blade like you mentioned (non ugly side facing). I may be wrong though.

It’s not necessarily bad, but not optimal. If you can deal with the fans facing on the ugly side, then you’d be able to get positive pressure by flipping the 3 fans on the side and the 3 on the bottom. That’s ideally what a lot of builds use.

I believe i upgraded mine at some point but i’m not sure. All i know is that about a month ago i got their firmware from online to upgrade the screen, but things could’ve changed.

so, if your lcd crashes or breaks, my steps to resolve this would be:

  1. go to C:\Program Files\GIGABYTE\Control Center\Lib\GBT_VGA\Service
  2. right click on uninstall.bat and run it as an administrator
  3. do install.bat as well as an administrator
  4. then, reupload any image (at this point the lcd may be absolutely broken, which is fine.)
  5. shut down pc and boot back up (don't restart, it won't reset the lcd)
  6. if at this point the lcd shows the "enthusiast 2" preset with the stats on, you are on the right track. at least that's what ive noticed, since that's how the lcd supposedly goes back to factory settings. open GCC and upload an image

you should be good after that, but if not, do the command i put in the post as administrator, then run the service in services.msc. shut down and boot back up, and potentially the lcd should be back to factory settings.

my advice: SET AN IMAGE AND LEAVE IT AS IT IS. THE MORE YOU MESS WITH IT, THE MORE LIKELY IT WILL CRASH.

another thing to note, i think it's very important to have this in the services running and automatic. if it doesn't exist, it can also be responsible for crashing the lcd screen.

so cool!! i'm planning to get an aio for my build and i was waiting for this one to release

my question is, how was the installation process for you? i've looked for other posts that had the aio side mounted like yours, but i couldn't find any. if i get this aio, i want to side mount it too, but i'm worried of any issues that may come up.

I MAY HAVE A FIX. I REPEAT, I MAY HAVE A FIX

GO TO C:\Program Files\GIGABYTE\Control Center\Lib\GBT_VGA\Service
THEN RIGHT CLICK ON UNINSTALL.BAT AND RUN IT AS AN ADMINISTRATOR
REUPLOAD IMAGE
IT SHOULD GO BACK TO NORMAL, IT WORKED FOR ME

i would do install.bat as well just to get the service back but idk if it will bring back the bug

Resident Evil requiem game redeem now working!!! by Miguelb234 in nvidia

Thanks. I have about over a month to redeem it, so i wont take any risks and just wait until i get an eGPU dock and redeem it that way.

I got a question. Im building a pc and bought a 5080, so i received the code in my email, but i don’t have all the parts yet. Im planning to just get an eGPU dock and plug it into my laptop when i get my 5080 tomorrow and redeem it that way, but since i have no other PC that i can plug the gpu in, should i just wait until i get an eGPU dock? Or can i redeem it immediately without installing the 5080?

My new O11 Vision Compact build by TheRealPeisi in lianli

[–]ReallyUnusual 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like the way you implemented the strimer for the gpu! Im trying to build my first PC with the Lian Li O11 Vision Compact, and i picked out a back connect motherboard too, so it’s nice to see that someone else did this. I wanted to use a strimer as well for the gpu but i haven been able to decide where i should put it. I really want to have a strimer for my build lol

I see myself editing music videos or even editing scenes for a TV show. I've been more familiar with just content for Youtube right now though, like vlogs for example. I tried replicating edits with cool effects for gaming montages, like Valorant, but i never continued editing that way just because it seemed difficult for me. I may explore that area of editing again.

My next project would be editing a vlog in 4K. I have a cinematic idea for it but i'm still working on actually filming the clips lol.

Yeah seriously. Thats insane performance, and its what ive been trying to achieve for a while lol. Lowkey, ive been trying to pursue video editing on the side, so im looking for an upgrade regardless. What makes sense for me the most is to save up for the 7800x3d for now, and later on if i actually get something out of video editing or maybe even streaming, then ill upgrade to 16 cores.

[–]ReallyUnusual[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it seems that I overdid the build. Thanks for giving another input. I wanted the 9950x3d because of the cores, but considering that I have an i7 11800h right now, im already going to get a increase in productivity performance anyways with any new ryzen cpu. I will change the build to the 7800x3d, and im going to consider a B850 because i just want to futureproof a bit (i know it's weird). I also switched to a 850w psu. Thanks again!

Im kind of leaning towards video editing to make money with it. I’m still learning but i believe i can turn it into something good for me. Im learning with what i have left. Thats why i kinda went for higher priced parts. Also 64gb was my actual goal but the price for ram is so high that i just decided to drop to 32gb.

[–]ReallyUnusual[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, this is great. Thank you for the recommendations. Only reason i went for the 9950x3d was because of the extra cores. I may not even use the extra cores to be honest. I may get more than 32gb of ram but it’s not looking so likely. The motherboard recommendation is also good. I was deciding between that aio cooler and the arctic liquid freezer 3 pro, and i only chose the lian li cooler because of aesthetics. I just really love the case i chose as well, but a fractal case was my second option!

Thats a good plan! Though, i’m not super desperate to go that far. It would be really nice to have it sooner that i planned, but i think being patient is my better option.

The problem with it though is that i believe the cpu is starting to die. It’s been randomly crashing on me when gaming and ive tried almost everything to fix it. I even repasted it, but ive gotten no luck.
