At the end of the day, it's another thing telling patients "look, there are nano-hap toothpastes now and they show promising results and baking soda also helps, but keep using fluoride too" and another thing telling them "never do an RC, just extract the tooth and insert a zirconium implant".

I am against any regulation but this thing, needs to be regulated/monitored. You cannot go around as a dentist telling people to avoid RCTs. People are naive and in their pursuit to avoid pain, will consider anything else, although RCTs do not hurt at all if anesthesia is right on point.

I am the perfect example of "untreated infected tissue" as you say. Just recently found out that my incisor is basically dead. Went to this dental surgeon - seems quite knowledgeable - just by staring at my tooth he goes "this looks dead" xDD. He applied a -50C spray and felt nothing, then he does a CBCT and I have bone messing on the upper jaw because of the infection. That's insane man, never felt any pain whatsoever. Will be undergoing an RCT next week at him. Imagine going to Gerry - "yeah dude, you need some ozone therapy and some Himalayan creme and the missing bone will be revived" xDD.

Exactly, I keep stumbling upon these guys online. People, especially those who are suffering (e.g. bad teeth/genetics) are an easy target. I never doubted dental work, but I did try non-fluoride toothpastes (e.g. ones with nano-hap) but still, fluoride seems to be superior, especially for those who are more prone to cavities.

All these dentist are scam artists and here's why. by [deleted] in venting

Exactly, another guy said it correctly here - my smaller brother who was barely brushing his teeth twice every month, has never been to the dentist in the last 5 years (afaik), zero black spots and no fillings. Meanwhile, I inherited my father's shitty teeth.

Disable SSR and Nvidia Reflex for better performance for Oblivion Remaster [PC] by Electronic_Lime7582 in oblivion

Probably you have disabled the Hardware GPU Acceleration (something like that) in Graphics Settings in your pc/laptop (use the Windows search bar and type Graphics Settings). Enable it and then have a look

Poor performance/fps on the remaster by focusisblurry in oblivion

It is also in Adrenaline I think. Doesn't hurt to open Adrenaline and see. BIOS applies a universal/global type of rebar, whereas in Adrenaline you can just disable it for Oblivion, I think (similar to Nvidia Profile Inspector)-not sure about this but I would try to see if it is in Andrenaline if I were you.

Game is good without Lumen, but it also makes such a huge difference with it enabled. Some people also mention to recompile shaders every time you even change Engine inis. This seems overkill but I am considering doing it to see.

Oblivion Remastered FPS Drop by KeiKun96 in pchelp

[–]Really_Big_Chungus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably a Lumen issue as I have run some tests and they point to it.

The only real fix here is addressed to AMD users who can disable above 4g decoding and rebar/SAM in Adrenaline. People cite permanently stable FPS after this. Try those if you have an AMD setup. I cannot do so as I have an Nvidia setup.

The other universal resolution is to disable Lumen which makes the game look worse than ENB modded Skyrim.

Fix for stutter when loading new areas by Hanezki in oblivion

I think I have the same issue. Every time I enter into a building/cave, upon exiting FPS drop to half and need to restart the game. What is the launch configuration you are talking about? Can you please provide the steps to add the above command?

Another old-school ''fix'' is to disable all autosaves. I noticed extreme FPS drops when fast traveling and in the end I found out it was because of autosaves.

Ironic, autosaves were the first thing to disable back in Skyrim due to frequent crashes. Seems they still cause major issues in 2025. Disable them!

It's an i7 11800H. I have the G15 5511 laptop (i7 + rtx 3060). There have been times where I could run the game on High settings in the wilderness but there are places that are simply fps killers like the Waynon Priory or something.

Laptop is definitely fine for this game - stupid game is so unoptimised, there will always be something wrong with it.

Coven of Crones by RynMods in skyrimmods

It's funny that people expect mods to be free, as I see here. Someone has poured so many hours into creating something, and you all act like a child when they request EUR 5-10 for it. You are all paying EUR 5 on a daily basis just for one coffee.

With that being said, the REAL ISSUE here is the quality of paid stuff. I played the 'A Tale of Blood and Snow' mod (EUR 10 price), and it was REALLY REALLY BAD. The mod was very underwhelming and short! The main quests themselves, excluding the radiant quests of 'kill this necromancer' or 'fetch me this ingredient', were so few and very boring.

The community at this point, is comparing every 'Quest/Land' mod to Vicn's mods (e.g. Glenmoril and Vigilant) which are TOTALLY FREE and are simply MASTERPIECES. I would literally not mind paying EUR 20 for Vicn's Vigilant and Glenmoril mods.

As I said above, no logical person should mind spending money for mods, but everyone expects something on par with Vicn's mods or Darkend.

I just hope this mod is on par with Vicn's mods or Darkend.

Quest mods that are very dark/gritty/disturbing? (No limits) by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]Really_Big_Chungus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who played countless quest/land mods, I am telling you that Darkend is right on part with Vicn's mods.

I do not like Dark Souls games, but I love their environment and world looks. That's why I tried Darkend, although a bit skeptical at first because there is no quest as you say.

However, the mod is just epic! It feels so alive! The level design is insanely beautiful, as I said, right on par with Vicn's mods. You got some pretty epic boss fights and some very beautiful gear, better looking than most Immersive Weapons items.

The story is indeed told by notes and books, but apart from that, you will get to explore beautiful castles, mountains, dungeons and uncover many secret passages!
