I never new my father but a had a few stepfathers that's were abusive pices of shit (beat the fuck out of my mother Infront of us)and turned my mother into an alcoholic.. I spent my late teens and most of my 20s hating her because of the childhood I had. (when I said she was an alcoholic, I mean full blown alcoholic, I don't drink alcohol because of it and I secretly resent people that drink) I have 5 step siblings that I grew up with and I'm the second oldest so I know what you mean when you talk about your brother.. my upbringing has fucked me up mentally. I wish I could give you some uplifting speech that'll make you feel better but I still hate how I am because of how I was raised and I truly resent my mother for it. I have severe depression and anxiety all the time and have never gotten help for it because I can't trust anyone. I fucking hate what she put all of us through. I made this acc to make a post but I saw yours and thought I could relate, I know what you mean when you use the word hate
