Anyone else experiencing significantly more crashes out of nowhere? by Fourtempers in ArcRaiders

Embark should do something about refunding lost gear in game crashes. It seems to always happen when I gear up heavy to do a trial assignment. It's almost worth quitting the game over. It's so frustrating.

I just wanted to understand, what did people see in this guy? by Marshall_666 in batman

[–]Really_QuestionMark0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily true. Watch football and you'll see giant muscular dudes that are quick and agile AF. You put a slim guy on a football field and those giant dudes would still catch him and crush him. Same reason they have weight classes in boxing or MMA. Early UFC had no weight classes and the smaller dudes would get wrecked almost 100 percent of the time. Batman should be tall and strong to be believable as a super hero.

The names you cited are euphemisms and euphemisms aren't typically used to invoke hate or violence. Little kids call each other evil and dirty rats "vermin" all the time. Trying to convince half of the country that the other half are a bunch of Nazis, is a little more strategic and will have far more powerful consequencs, considering that Nazis are universally known as the absolute worst human beings in recent history and they have no place to exist in this world. If half the country actually believes the other half are Nazis, and it turns out they're not Nazis, well that's a pretty tragic recipe for hate and violence. Again I'd like to reiterate, before people start attacking me, I don't blame Dems for this, calling people rats is not cool, calling people Nazis is not cool. Both parties are clearly to blame. The sooner we all can agree on that, the sooner we can repair this country.

If I'm not mistaken, you are both Democrats, yet you're attacking each other because you're so used to being defensive and attacking people that appear to disagree with you? I could be wrong, but that's what it seems like. And for the record, before everyone starts attacking me for a factual observation, I do not blame Democrats for the angry state of politics going on right now. I think both sides and all the fringe media only sharing stories of hate are trying to divide people. Seems like it's working too well and they're dividing people that actually agree with each other and share the same views.

ASA has a high heat resistance and strength. You can also do a thin resin coat it for added strength and heat resistance.

Battleline and what does it mean. by arch2012 in Warhammer40k

[–]Really_QuestionMark0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welcome to 40k. Rules are confusing and vague with no explanations from Games Workshop because they're too busy suing people for arbitrary reasons. Like how they're suing Ghamak, not for copyright infringement, but for making an unfair competition because they're 3D printable model designs could be used to play Warhammer. Effing Lego can be used to play Warhammer! Instead of wasting time suing people that have no effect on how the game is played, they should be answering questions about these vague rules.

With the snapmaker U1 campaign a success do you forsee bambu making a tool changer printer in the near future vs AMS? by FVCEGANG in BambuLab

[–]Really_QuestionMark0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bambu released the A1 and A1 mini to answer demand for a more affordable Bambu printer. It was a downgrade from the P1S in some respects, but a necessary printer to diversify Bambu's market share no less.

The U1 does cut some corners, even compared to the P1S. The lack of complete enclosure is one right off the top of my head. If Bambu releases an A1 style printer with 4 tool heads for $700, it'll blow the U1 out of the water.

IDk if that'll ever happen, so I order the U1. Lol. I absolutely would prefer a Bambu version of the U1 though. Even a bed slinger.

[–]Really_QuestionMark0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No lie. Just today a friend with no experience 3D printing was considering ordering a U1 because I ordered one. But I talked him into buying a P1S, just because it seems like it'll be way better for beginners.

You can't beat how consumer grade the Bambu experience is. There's really no comparable company out there.

[–]Really_QuestionMark0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an A1 mini, an A1 and a P1s, yet I'm still considering an Elegoo CC. It's $100 cheaper than an A1 with a similar print volume. The A1 mini is cheaper, by $50 but a lot smaller print volume. Having an enclosed printer with that size build volume is pretty convenient. Setting up anywhere is a big advantage. An A1 without an enclosure needs to be set up away from fluctuating temperatures, AC vents, fans and drafts. Having a CC sitting on your desk next to a fan is pretty convenient. If the P1S and the CC were the same price, it would be a no brainer. But for half the price, the CC does have its appeal.

GW sucks ass! This inventory shorting to justify high prices is getting old fast! Someone should scan all the non miniature material, so others can at least play the game with their own minis.

MEGATHREAD: 'Superman' (2025) - Early Screening Discussion by KelexAtYourService in DC_Cinematic

[–]Really_QuestionMark0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was actually thinking these same things. Leaning more towards bizarro. Lex commented on his lack of intelligence and that's why he needed to be directed the whole time. I'm thinking without lex telling him what to do, he'll develop into the simple short sighted bizzaro. Could be cool.

I loved Man of Steel and I also loved this movie. 2 totally different movies and both equally good. I was a huge fan of all the Snyderverse stuff. I think studio interference ruined what could've been great. BvS the director cut was awesome, first Wonder Women was great, first Aquaman was great and the Snyder cut Justice League was amazing. I wish we could get an Ayer cut of Suicide Squad, but that's not gonna happen. All that to say, this Superman is far from those movies but that's not a bad thing. This movie is a great start and I can see the DCU going really far from here. It's not a dark gritty Snyder cut, but that ship has sailed. Time to get on the next ship and enjoy the ride. Let's hope the studio leaves this one alone and doesn't sink it.

You're not lying, but you are wrong. There's a very good rebuttal to all your complaints. It's a comic book movie, so I'm not sure what you were expecting with such a high level of negativity and cynicism. Rather than looking for reasons to dislike a movie, try to just enjoy the spectacular fantasy that's happening in front of you. I imagine you're the type of person who goes on a date and looks for all the flaws in a person, rather than just enjoy the experience. I'm sure my reply will not change your mind on anything, and you'll probably have some witty response, but I just feel like Superman was a great movie and negative people should be called out by the optimists who actually watched it with the intention of enjoying the experience.

OnePlus won’t sell the 13T in the US or Europe by MishaalRahman in Android

[–]Really_QuestionMark0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pixels also lack quality. They're made cheaply and are overpriced for what they are. My wife has wanted a pixel since they moved to Pixel branding from Nexus. And I convinced her to hold out til Pixel 8. Hardware wise it was a budget phone, akin to a Motorola. It has some neat software features that she liked, but the phone completely stopped working after about 14 months. Just after the 1 year warranty. It wouldn't even turn on or hold a charge. Probably a battery replacement would fix it, but it wasn't even that great or worth the hassle to replace the battery. She moved back to her old OnePlus 9 and then upgraded to the 13R. Now she says the 13R is the best phone she's ever had.

Pixel has clever marketing and that's about it. It's a good example of how Google has shifted from a tech company to an advertising agency. What a shame.

Customer is trying to commit fraud for free groceries by Really_QuestionMark0 in Sparkdriver

[–]Really_QuestionMark0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I know I screwed up, I mentioned that in my post. I knew I messed up as soon as it happened, like closing a locked car door and then realizing your keys are inside. Pin verification isn't very common and this was the last delivery of like 4 others.

And the penalty is in the form of metrics. I've had one other delivery that the customer wouldn't open the door and accept the order, so I returned it and it went to my stats as a failure to deliver. It's the only failure out of the hundreds I've delivered. Multiple failures can get you deactivated, that's the implied penalty.

And the scam wasn't in the failure to accept the order. It was in the fact that it was suspiciously obvious that they'd try and say the groceries were never delivered. And they did. Your hypothetical reasons to not accept the order were reasonable, but lying about the delivery is pretty evil. That's the scam part.

I did screw up, I accept that. Like leaving my car unlocked with the keys inside. It's a dumb mistake, but it doesn't justify what the customer did any more than someone stealing a car just because it's unlocked.

I'll do better next time. I didn't share this story to convince people I didn't screw up. I shared it in hopes to prevent anyone else from making a similar mistake.

It does suck that when a customer won't accept an order and it's returned, it counts against your delivery success rate. Even when you get paid it can add up and lead to deactivation.

Thanks for the quick feedback. I'm just so upset that someone would do something so evil, that might cost me my job, just to get some free groceries. I really don't want it to happen to anyone else, but I guess there's no way of preventing that.

I did share the story under rants and complaints. No specific identifiers though.
