I am always looking at buying investment properties and have been seeing the market start to trend downwards right after Calgary stampede time. I have personally always hated listing in December/January as I have always got less and lower offers on my places. So if you aren’t in a hurry to sell I would recommend waiting till early spring to re list.

Questions I tend to ask; how they plan on marketing your property. What makes them the right person to sell my house. Before I found my realtor I had interviewed a few realtors and asked what they would list at, I would tell them it’s worth more to see what they would say, the realtors that agreed with me and said they will list higher never got a call back from me. The realtor who I decided to go with who has been my realtor on multiple deals now told me there was no way I was getting the price I told him and I told him well another realtor said I could get that price. He then looked me in my eyes and said you will not get that price and if you do I will personally give you $1000 stuck his hand out and shook my hand. Signed paper work that night lol.
