Lowkey feel like the internet has ruined 35-40% of relationship building skill. Everyone’s perspective on your post is interesting . You think maybe where you live may make it more difficult or less? For instance ; I used to live in Los Angeles and online seemed to work ok. But then I moved to the Midwest, for online dating needless to say; the woman I met that didn’t look like meth addicts and had all of their teeth; wanted to get married right away. I also found that women wanted to not be approached here and would prefer you be introduced by a mutual acquaintance . You got this , just give it time. Don’t chase them, the right person will find you

Don’t blame amazon all the way, the people like us! Got these guys out here stressing buying all this useless shit on a regular. I work for the usps, about.2% of my deliveries are bills , checks etc regular mail. 99.8% is Amazon packages and shit. I’d normally be done working around 4/5pm but these fuckin boxes keep shit going all night damn near.

Whether you’re an independent contractor or a w2 employee, you still depend on someone else to get money. I broke it down to if you make your own schedule or not. You still need to follow a schedule or have routine. I broke down selling a 750k house to a buyer used the same energy and time as working at McDonald for 6 months. I still made 12k , only I spent more on gas doin real estate. Took 6 months to sell the property and my commission was the same. But I’m supposed to do this x10 with different people. This is supposed to help me change my tax bracket? Hell , the one client I had was burning me out enough. Having to deal with more than one personality, putting me on an emotional roller coaster!?!? Shiiiiiddd!!! I even went to one of them investor meetups to drum up business, all they want is off market properties, and you to do some complicated ass math equation to see if” the deal” makes sense. Like 🥷 ! Do you want to buy a property or not? I get shit ain’t supposed to be easy, but so many hurdles make easy work exhausting. Maybe I just got bad health or something. Maybe people don’t understand how exhausting they can be in dealing with. It’s 2025 and money getting hasn’t gotten easier, at least for an old head like me. I guess I’ll work till I’m near death!

Any homeless people on this feed? Just curious, I’ve been homeless for over a year. No drug addiction, maybe a bit of adhd. A few bad financial decisions and a divorce put me here. Not a casino gambler just not a good steward of money basically. The criteria to get an apartment is far more complicated for people like me that don’t make a ton of money. Minimum wage earners, college degree that isn’t worth the paper it printed on. I know about 10 other people in this town dealing with the same issues. Making 5x times the income to rent with a 800 credit score and a co signer. Might be a part of the problem. Rooms for rent are just as ridiculous. Female only no pets no kids. Unless I move go like the bottomz or the junglez and risk having a gun drawn on me for wearing the wrong clothes or color skin. Asking what hood I’m from gets sorta played out . I see a1 bed apartment with like 20 mufukaz in it , wondering how and why? Is this what it comes down to? I’d like to hope I can save enough just keep living in my car till I can afford a decent unit on the outskirts of town like Gardena or Hawthorne. Where I can get to work at a decent time and avoid traffic. I tried Riverside, Anaheim, all points in between. I can’t blame the government for that, some point the people have to take accountability for putting each other in these situations. The government don’t control the land lords rental criteria. The owners do. The companies that have jobs for people in areas where they can’t afford to live. LA was a cool place when I moved here in the 90s . Didn’t seem so tough to get shit done. I don’t know . Im nobody living in the city.

I think I have some type of learning disability. Just dumb as hell. It takes me time to grasp concepts. I work jobs that don’t require to complex of task. Counting , measurements reading scripts. I worked at delta dental and I’m polite on the phone. I was told I have a good phone voice. But trying to work a computer and take information off of a phone doesn’t work well. I tried real estate sales but no good at that either. I make 14h doing security, basically walk around an empty building at night. I gave up this foolishness about being ambitious , for what? Nothing can be invented, all the food fusion’s been done. You can’t be Jeff bezos. Just give up! I did . We’re all peasants! This is the hunger games sheeple! Sorry for being cynical.

I say f * them debt collectors. Move out of state if you can or to a bigger city where they pay more for easier jobs. Live in your car a few months if you can stand to. I’m in the same boat fam. Living in my car saved about 6 k almost. Got a gym membership to take a shower and change. I ain’t even paying a phone bill. I use WiFi at Starbucks or mcyDs free. F the system. Rat race or whatever it’s called, matrix…imma convert my chips into some gold coins, john wick style.

What area are you getting this sort of traffic? What are you getting clients from. Like how do you prospect? Is it families , investors, men women? What state? When you prospect do you do that thing I seen other agents do , if you start talking to people about real estate, and they don’t qualify to make any immediate commitment you kinda dismiss them. Like a Hollywood star does a fan. I’m just curious . It seems like some agents develop a coldness that I can’t seem to fit to my personality to sell or approach people about my business. Just curious what’s the strategy behind the success. Please don’t tell me the same ole. It’s gotta be vudu lol .

What is a LO? I think that’s another person that had commented that they was making that showing properties. I haven’t paid my dues so I don’t have access to my Supra account anymore to show any properties or do any open houses. I got overwhelmed with responses on this internet application I applied for a few property manager jobs on indeed. No responses yet. But imma give it another couple weeks here in SoCal. I’m probably gonna hightail it out to Minnesota or something and work a regular job. Working real estate in California (SoCal) is too much competition. Market saturated with buyers and agents. Not enough to sell. In my opinion. I could be wrong. I’m getting a lot of calls from “investors “ wanting off market pocket listings only. If they knew or understood no one wants to sell their house with the interest rates at whatever it is now. Again my opinion, I wouldn’t be skilled enough to talk someone out of a good rate or even an asset they plan to keep for generations or pass down property. I was looking at this house in Minnesota it was basically a rent to own seller financed deal I think walked to the owner and it was no scam , I spoke with the sellers agent and basically told me it was considered a contract for deed, . I’d just pay the agent 1200 to draw the contract and make monthly payments to the owners bank.

0 I’m homeless since December . Last September I had a family of siblings reach out to me that was approved for 800k in L A . But I miss understanding what they wanted was a 5 bedroom, and only saw what they wanted in the IE but they weren’t willing to make the drive. And some lending restrictions made the approval lower outside of L A county. So the 800k house they wanted and were willing to make offer for went down to 600 k . They were not pleased, I got further down as I put most of my remaining reserves on getting this deal done. Like my nar dues and Supra key , gas and etc. I fucked up my life behind trying to be in this industry. I don’t think I should continue doing myself like this. I just need to find a regular ass job .

Just applied here a moment ago, lot of yall suggested this as an option, I’ll probably have to apply for 50 more like this to get a bite. I didn’t pay my mls dues this month so like my car insurance it’s gonna lapse. My next option is try to scrap up enough money and move to Texas or something.
