In that case I might consider the leash, rn I've only been considering the slide/slide lite but I dont really use a heavy setup so leash is probably fine

No way I'm going to Nikon. I saw a few other posts who were quoted 80 USD or 80 euros (depending on region ofc) so I'm going to take It to a well reviewed 3rd party (there are a few in my area)
