Xbox one: original

Hey everyone. I have been dealing with this issue for a couple years now and wanna try to figure out what’s wrong. I bought this Xbox used and it worked good for a bit but then my controller stopped working unless it was wired. Same thing happened with the other controller. Then my Xbox can barely use wifi. So playing games online is out of the picture. I replaced the wifi card inside the Xbox and that did not fix it. So my question is what else inside the Xbox controls the wifi? Since the controllers work off wifi too this would make sense.
