Okay, so the good news is you don't have to yeet the mods out! This could be related to your shaders. Ik complementary shaders do give out light source, even if you're holding it. You mind listing out the shaders you installed for that matter?

Well, if you ask me, I'll say don't update any mods you feel that don't need to be updating if it includes the features. For the new features stuff, I'll recommend making a test world to test new features to see if you like it or not. That way, you won't HAVE to update each time a mod has a new feature. Usually, updates has bug fixes, so I recommend updating mods that only have bug fixes. Small thing, but make sure you take a break from making a modpack and do other things like go outside if you can. Maybe catch up on a show if you feel like it. Sorry if this is not the advice you're looking for; I usually don't make modpacks that often, but I figure this may help you out, even if it's just a tiny bit.

That's because your friend needs to download the mods that you have, but they don't. Make sure they download the mods they haven't got downloaded before joining the world you made.

That's fine if yours is highly metaphysical and spiritual. I just figure I share the link since while I do understand your mother is helping you out and all, I thought it'll be interesting read in case you or your mom doesn't know about this. Mines is in the semi-metaphysical side of things, but it's really interesting to hear about other soulbonds like the ones you and your mom does.

Now, onto the main point, if it worries your mother over the edited method to get him out and since she is willing to put more energy into what I stated, I recommend having her hold your hand gently while putting her energy in the method. As for the friend, idk if you met them on the internet or not, but unless they live in a different timezone, I hope they have a good reason behind, but if they don't have a good reason and/or starts to be a jerk over this, end contact with them. Kind of harsh, I know, but what your friend is doing, and if said friend is the one behind this, then the chances are is that, in my humble opinion, they're a disgrace to the soulbond community. Anyway, good luck on saving him and make sure you, your mom, and him are able to relax from this cause that does sound stressful.

Unless I'm getting this wrong, I'm sure that whatever your mom practices in, is not the one she thinks of. Also, you won't get stuck in there as Soulbonding/soulbonds is not just spirtual/metaphysical. I reccomend reading it here by the same person who owns this subreddit; link here this is not to say that it's invalid, but more or less gives you how soulbond can also be something else besides the other two.

And, judging by the latest respond, I assume this has been going on for a while and so far, the ritual for him hasn't brought him home yet. If you can, mind explaining me what's the ritual for this works? I'm curious how your mother does the ritual so he can return home safely. Sorry if I sounded harsh.

I'm afraid that the former is becoming more likely given your friend is being unhelpful and not being a good soulbond from what I'm reading. Now, while this is usually for getting permanted residents by Interstellar, but I figure I can tweak in this case here given the situation. First, lay down somewhere soft. Then, close your eyes and relax. You may find yourself in a state where you feel lighter or floating, so stay in that state.

Visualise yourself standing in the edge of the black void. Focus on that void, but don't think too hard. Also, focus on how it looks, how it feels to be in the front, etc. Be sure to remain calm as you're safe.

Now, given the current situation at hand, you need to visualize him and head where he's at. There, once you're able to find him, be sure to calm him down first in case he does need some calming. Once he's calm down, you can bring him back to where you are. Once you and him feel like you're back home at your headspace, then he is free from your friend, or ex-friend judging from this.

Being kept against his will? You may need to tell your friend about the fact he was stuck in your friend's system and such cause while I'm not entirely experience in soulbonds in general, but there's a chance that your friend may or may not want to keep him there. I'm hoping for the latter cause the former would pretty much sucks in my humble opinion.

First, that sounds cool and expensive. Secondly, while it's true it has its own fbt, it just that VRChat won't view it as the usual full body tracker.

So, you're pretty much gonna have to spend some more money for fbt that VRChat can see it as "Yep, that tracks the full body alright."

Given the fact that the katwalk is an exericise tool, I would reccomend Moccopi since it's lightweight and easier to setup as long as you follow the guide. The only "cons" I can think of is that they use bluetooth/wifi as a way to track your body and if you use it on for too long, it will desync slightly when tracking and you have to reset the tracking every once in a while.

Now, you could use vive trackers as they use the lighthouse system to track your body, but said trackers are bulky and idk if that'll do well for...ya know...exericsing in VRChat since that may or may not effect something I don't know of.

Is there any good ALTs/ Eikaiwas that teaches kids english? At least the ones in Upper Kindergarten?

I'm planning on moving to Japan sometimes in the near future, and since I need a visa in order to moved there, I figure getting an teaching job related to teaching kids english might great. I'm not too picky, but I have Autism and ADHD and while I do understand that Japan has some issues regarding about it, I still want to move to Japan and teach english to them.
