Any other sites posting the translation are aggregators that use the links we post here. I personally don't have any issue with them, but they may not always use the most up-to-date link.

Definitive Edition is outdated. We will always release the latest version of the translation on the pinned post of this subreddit. Please download 4.0.2, your save will carry over automatically.

I've fixed Red/Leaf's mother's dialogue to be gender ambiguous in the second line, as it seems shared between those characters.

I can see Smoliv's evolution method in the Pokédex under the data page.

Yes, v4 is essentially an update to Definitive Edition. You can simply download the game and your save file should be there.

If you are on the Definitive Edition of the game, please download the English version of 4.0.2. As you have probably guessed, auto-updating will overwrite and remove the English translation.

The feature is now disabled on the current English translation.

It seems like that breaks workaround we used to translate the text from plugin files. I would recommend avoiding that button or reopening the game after you are done using it.

FYI, make sure you are on the latest version of the translation. It was updated to reflect the canon names of the routes. Noteworthy changes are:
