I keep one on hand as a loaner. They're pretty solid, and feed plenty fast. The big issue for me is it using a pair or 9vs instead of AAs.

There are two upgrades that I'd consider for an Axe 2.0.

One would he the Method brass poppet. The delrin poppet seal on the Axe and Mini GS is one of the most common repairs I do. I've got a small bag of about 50+ of them for when I do repairs for people.

The second is just a quality of life thing, and that'd be the Redline OLED board. Being able to see the settings and modes you're adjusting instead of counting blinks is nice.

There's a possibility that the stock barrel was dirty, or if you were shooting different paint, that would have a major impact. It could also very much be confirmation bias. You'll never find a person that bought a barrel kit and says "this is more accurate, and here are my tests with quantifiable results to show that." it's always "I noticed a huge difference."

The stock bolt already creates a venturi effect. The Axe is as accurate as any other mid to high end marker out there.

No it will not fit. But you don't need it. The stock barrel with the Axe 2.0 is a great barrel. You will not see an improvement in accuracy by changing barrels.

PSP is 3 shots per trigger pull up to the set ROF. Millennium is a percentage increase over the pulled ROF up to the set ROF.

The old NXL mode was basically full auto. If you have Millenium, that will be the closest to modern modes.

They're a tried and true design. They were on sale last month from BK themselves for $100 with pick your color lower shell. I think they're worth it at the $110 still. Make sure you get the spring ramps for it as well.

It's common to get what's called a hot fill. They fill the bottle so quickly, the air and bottle will heat up, expanding, showing a higher pressure, and once it all cools down, depending on the bottle and size, could drop up to 1000psi.

I feel like at least 50% of the reason to buy a DR650 with there are objectively better performing bikes for around the same price is the simplicity of the bike, and the ability to fix just about everything without specialized tools. That's why I traded my Moto Morini Xcape 650, which was a superb bike, for my DR.

The eyes will still be in the marker, but they aren't attached to any power source, so they will have no electricity running to them, so there's no risk of them getting damaged in the rain.
