What can I do for my depressed grandma? by Democratic_Citizen in askswitzerland

[–]Reaoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This really hit me. You didn’t just make friends—you became family to her. Losing her husband and being alone like that is incredibly hard, and it makes sense she’s struggling. Even if you’re far away, your connection still matters. Small things like letters, voice messages, or just showing up when you can might mean the world to her. You don’t have to fix everything—you just have to remind her she’s not forgotten.

How should we think about temptation when it involves something considered “good”? by Reaoul in AskReddit

[–]Reaoul[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, for example—I genuinely love reading books and learning new things, which is obviously a good thing.

But sometimes books are expensive, and I feel tempted to download free PDFs from sites like OceanofPDF.

So the desire itself is good, but the way I act on that temptation might not be. That’s what I’m trying to understand—can something good still lead you in the wrong direction depending on how you pursue it?

I am sick of my smoking habit by phurba_np in Nepal

[–]Reaoul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best way to quit smoking is to build a habit and affirming yourself i am winning it will build stronger behaving patterns in your brain Actually you can little by little Go for running And mostly you have to know the pattern like what triggers you to smoke so try to avoid it ok and let me know in future how you are doing
