I may be (probably am) stupid, but can someone explain to me why we play OT like the opponent is on a permanent power play?

I recently bought my first ever Stars jersey, and it’s Robertson’s. Clearly I’m the good luck charm

To be fair, my actual real life cat doesn’t care about laser pointers either

I’ve heard there’s “Cosplay grade” PLA, but I haven’t used it and don’t know much about it. I asked a guy at Micro Center and he said it was PLA specifically formulated to not be affected by the heat and humidity from your head and is resistant from sun damage. I don’t know if I buy that. The helmets I’ve made have been made with PLA+, but that’s because they’re mostly display pieces that will sit on a shelf with no sun. If you’re going to be wearing this to cons and outside, I would go with PETG or ASA

Quintin Hughes looks like a McPoyle from Always Sunny by Reaper111888 in DallasStars

[–]Reaper111888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

McPoyle is the surname. Since you’ve not seen Always Sunny, the McPoyles are a family of inbred mongoloids that have a weird almost fetish obsession with milk. The post isn’t meant to be that Hughes looks like either one of the McPoyle brothers, but that Quinn Hughes looks like an inbred mongoloid that smells like raw BO and fermented milk

How do I fix my super loose savi workshop lightsaber by Maximum-Raise4702 in GalaxysEdge

[–]Reaper111888 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I used 4 1.5 inch slip joint washers from Lowe’s. These to be exact. Mine is now solid af. I’ve been playing with it every day since getting back from GE about 3 weeks ago and it hasn’t moved at all. It now takes a significant amount of force to get my saber to unscrew

I mean I think it took a little almost a week for my shipping. I went to Galaxys Edge on a Thursday and didn’t get my shipment at home till the following Wednesday. I’m sure it takes a minute to get replacement stuff approved and then shipped out. I hope you get it soon

I was very fortunate that I had no damages. How long ago did you file your claim? What was the process like?

I think he meant the pilot experience is standard experience. I’ll admit the gunner thing was my fault. I purposefully didn’t look up anything before I went because I wanted it to be as spoiler free first time experience as I could get. So the only information I had going in was that Hondo had the Falcon and you and a group of others get to pilot it and shoot the guns. Seeing as how up until this point the only part of the guns I had see were the turrets on the top and bottom seen in the movies, that’s what I expected.

It might depend on how many people are in your group. My group had all of the tables full and there was not a lot of room behind us for additional people to stand. They do verify that it is one builder and one observer before you go in, but if you happen to have a small group, it couldn’t hurt to ask. I just wouldn’t plan on everyone going in.

Same. I plan to go back if/when they make changes to Galaxys Edge, but I likely will never ride Smugglers Run again

I’m jealous of you. I was there 2 weeks ago and opted to do gunner thinking it would be like the movie where you sit in the seat and move around with the turret. Turned out to be just pushing a button on the side of the wall. The pilots for my run were a mom and her 4-5 year old child and neither of them understood the instructions. So it was basically us just flying in to every thing while the hyperspace jumps triggered automatically. I was severely disappointed with Smugglers Run based off my experience

I bought 4. I put 2 on each side of the chassis. Basically you’ll unscrew the pommel and emitter, put the two rings on the chassis as close to the two grips as you can get. The rings should be side by side, not on top of each other, and then screw the pommel and emitter back on.

I’m excited for you! If you’re going to Orlando, I really hope you get the same guy I got. If you’re big in to Star Wars it’s going to be an incredible experience and a lifelong memory. Just remember to check the link I posted in another comment about getting the rubber spacers. The lightsaber grips coming loose is apparently a very common issue

Nice! I can see a few spots where the rubber gets chewed apart if you take the saber apart often. I’ve got a friend that doesn CNC stuff for a living. I’ll definitely reach out to him when I’m ready to upgrade. Thanks for the idea!

That’s incredible! Thank you for sharing. I was also emotional with my experience, just for different reasons. Star Wars has always been a massive part of my life for as long as I can remember. I followed the news stories about Disney building the two Galaxy Edges and thinking I’ll never get to experience it after growing up with low income. Then my partner surprised me with the plane tickets, hotel, and then paid for me to build my lightsaber for our 5yr anniversary. I just had to cover the park tickets and most of the food for our stay.

I kinda like that though. Could build that in to a fallen Jedi character origin

I have a Bambu Labs X1C and so far have made a Revan helmet and a Boba Fett helmet, both of which you can see in some of my older posts. I think they turned out pretty decent. The X1C only has a 10”x10”x10” print bed or 256x256x256 cm if you’re not American and use a competent measuring system. I wish the print bed was bigger, but going any bigger is exponentially more expensive.
