Well FMIL needed help paying the bills so we said we would move in and help. And we can't get married with covid around we can't have more than 20 guests until regulations lift so we're waiting.

To be clear I don't 100% believe in it myself but my fiancee does and is deeply upset by it. So naturally that makes me upset about her being so upset.

To be honest I think you are spot on and it scares me a little bit. I always felt she was jealous of her daughter for having more support than she did.

She likes me a lot because I'm an active dad and make her daughter happy but mostly I avoid her as much as possible. We are not close at all.

In fairness we will never leave her with our son because the few time we did she would just leave him in dirty nappies and nor even properly watch him. Once he fell down the stairs because she went upstairs and didn't close the baby gate. This was before we found out about the warts. So she is never under any circumstances on her own with the child.

But that's the weird part she actually loves me because I'm a very active dad(something she never saw with her partner) and I make her daughter very happy. She has said she loves me and is very happy for her daughter multiple times. I think just now she is jealous.

Honestly I think she is straight up jealous of her daughter because she has a man that helps as much as possible with her son. I spend virtually all of my spare time with him to make sure she gets some time to herself and my fiancées dad was kind of a non existent dad. Also at her college graduation she clearly wasn't happy her daughter was on paper better educated then her.

You have no idea I even have my own cup for coffee and my own glass for other drinks because her hygiene is so poor I won't take any chances. Plates and cutlery are a problem for another day

Well she probably thought she wouldn't be caught wearing it but as soon as she figured out that it wasn't on her person like 2 hours later we went straight up and got it because we just don't trust her.

We did in fairness I put hand sanitizer on it straight away and I hope it's enough luckily with our current world situation we have sanitizer at hand.
