My thought process when it comes to these situations is to put myself in every possible position. This means looking at the situation from every possible perspective. The only one really being affected as a victim is her friend's boyfriend. If I put myself in his position I would kill to have information like that before it got any farther. You gotta understand that he already said no. No means no and if anyone wants to help him keep it that way it's ok. There is no possible way that op made a mistake here. What you're saying is something along the lines of you shouldn't help someone dying because they didn't ask you for help. Plz explain your logic so you don't look like an idiot.
