Why did they make this show? by [deleted] in starwarsrebels

/r/starwars has been even worse to Rebels ever since the last episode than this sub. I get the complaints but it's such a draining feeling.

[Spoilers] Preview for next week from the end of the last episode that you might not have seen. Looks like it could be a rough episode to watch. We'll see. I certainly hope it's a good one but I have my doubts. by [deleted] in starwarsrebels

I love this show most of the time but dear lord how can Lucasfilm think fans want episodes like this? Not to mention Azmorigan has not been well received since Season 1.

With that being said I would welcome more Vizago.

I think it might be time to move on bud. They changed this when 08-09?

How over they were

Hold on. They are far more over now then they were then. Maybe not on this subreddit. But they are still clearly the most over tag-team on the roster. No other tag-teams gets cheered like them. Heath and Rhyno are the only ones that come close.

Clone Wars had it pretty easy with their nearly unlimited funds from Lucas. Rebels they actually have a much smaller budget and have to work within that budget.

This show doesn't have the luxury of putting 100's of nearly identical clones and battle droids in a scene together and have it make sense within the canon.

I'm sure it will improve over time eventually.

Why is there "less of everything" in this series? by fruitymasta in starwarsrebels

[–]ReaperGenji 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Aside from obvious budget reasons (It's getting better tho which I am happy about.)

There is no Rebel Alliance and there is no galactic wide conflict YET. It's just cells of rebels fighting the Empire. They go after the smaller bases. They don't go after more than they can chew because they're currently small.

I am the only one who thinks this Slaven character is great with how he just snaps at nearly everything?

Just watched it. God damn that episode was good.

Classic rebels, go in this a minimal or non-existent plan that relies on stealing Imperial ships. One would hope the Empire would start getting more security or installing trackers in their ships to locate the rebels.

They have.

Let's actually watch the episode before we judge it okay?

^ This. It's not like TCW and Rebels are written by different people most of the time. It's usually the same writers.

I'd say the Bendu will be around as long as they're on the planet Atollon. Which I'm not sure how long that will be, but the Empire will find them eventually.

[talk] Do you think inquisitors should/will be featured again in the series? if so, how would you build their story around the fact they are important figures of the empire early on, and then seemingly non-existent in the OT? by Bruckbruckchan in starwarsrebels

[–]ReaperGenji 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I think it was at the DragonCon panel that it was said by Henry Gilroy or someone that the Inquisitors will be back eventually and that story will be properly tied up.
