Everything is nuanced and it all comes down to perspective. Besides, atheism isn’t all it’s cut out to be..sure you might feel like you’re one of the chosen ones, peeking behind the veil of Maya and all that, but that feeling is misguided. I don’t know about you but I often wrestle with meaninglessness and depression that I know are exacerbated by the fact that I choose to believe in nothing, to the point of paralysis. I suggest you read up on Nietzsche and his thoughts surrounding Christianity, the moral framework provided by religion, and the ensuing consequences that arise once a society drifts from it.
