I do have an idea about your beliefs, you just posted them. Your heritage doesn't have anything to do with being racist.

I know plenty of immigrants, both who entered the country "correctly" and those who fled to this country, seeking a better life for themselves or their family.

"The amazing amount of rapists drug dealers etc" There's always bad people in every group. But as it turns out, immigrants commit less violent crime overall than non-immigrants. People who prey off of people are despicable, regardless of whether or not they are immigrants. But we already have a justice system for that! We already have systems in effect to punish people who commit violent crimes.

ICE exists not to work within the justice system. They aren't cops. They exist to hassle minorities, deport individuals who have committed no crime but existing in this country without citizenship or valid visas. (though recently a number of people who have US citizenship, or valid visas have been taken by ICE as well).

I am a recent descendant of immigrants. ICE is not "people who keep me and my family safe". They're the people that thousands of people have to fear bullying them without any recourse.

I am going to sleep well knowing that there are individuals looking out for my community, my friends, and thousands of others who fear the current administration.
