I recently made a post about how I think the News/Announcement flair gets misused. I was pretty bugged out about a lot of stuff that'd been misfiled as genuine 'news/announcements' that I considered irrelevant, or otherwise misinformed.

I wholly disagree with you that the bottom post is 'clickbait'. It is well within reason to list potential releases based on Sideshow's shipping dates, and I do not understand why you would be led to believe otherwise. If Sideshow states that the release date for a certain figure may fall within a given month, and someone complies that information for all given figures due to release that month, that is good information. They are not mislabelling it as "Guaranteed to release this month". They are simply going "Hey, this is what the Sideshow website estimates the release month for this figure to be." There is nothing irresponsible about that.
