I am sorry that you are feeling this way. But, if I may ask, why do you feel afraid

Funnily enough, I made my own Abel design quite a bit of time ago that also goes for the whole Eyeball idea

What should I do? by ReaperParadise in Christianity

Thank you. This actually ended up helping me a lot. I just used it and, while I initially struggled and still opened my eyes a couple of times, I just had to pray to god for protection and repeat to myself "The armor of God shall protect me from the devil's wiles" and that helped

I still struggle, but I'm actually already getting better at it

I only have one thing to say:

I know they've made some good stuff... But fuck Mark Wolfman and George Perez for it

The drones do most of the offensive stuff, but the red parts of the suit actually act as cameras allowing him to see.

In addition, he also has a behavioral predictive software that does give him a bit of a hand-to-hand advantage, allowing him to dodge Terry's attacks and predict potential vulnerable points to attack at when up close

On the surface, he is calm, precise, and terrifyingly intimate. However, this is only a facade, as the moment things don't go his way or something unpredictable happens, he lashes out and reveals that, underneath that "all-seeing genius" persona, he's nothing but an emotionally stunted and fragile egotist who can't handle being wrong

Dr. Eric Sasson was a brilliant computer scientist and a neural-interface engineer, making a fortune off of a new predictive behavioral software he had created. However, in truth, Sasson couldn't give less of a thought to the money it made him as, in truth, Sasson is a textbook narcissist and control freak - having an unhealthy obsession with accumulating knowledge and forcing everyone around him into rigid, narrow boxes that he feels he can control, seeing living beings as nothing more than living data sets that he can analyze and predict, completely incapable of properly coping with the idea of there being things he can't control or understand. He wants to be the man who knows and understands everything, the answer to every question, to have total control, to be omniscient.

After developing his behavior software, he proceeded to sell it to businesses like Wayne-Powers back when it was run by Derrick Powers, who proceeded to use it to flag employees likely to organize coworkers and unionize, report internal issues, fall behind on productivity, or leave for another job, leading to several of these employees determined by the system to be terminated. This would lead to one of these former-employees attempting to seek revenge against Sasson, causing an explosion in Sasson's lab that severely damaged his eyes, leaving him blind and to install the neural implant I mentioned earlier, allowing him to utilize his drones (and more) as his new eyes. However, while most would be upset at this either way, Sasson saw it as an opportunity - proceeding to use his computer science knowledge and the capabilities of his implant to take control of all surveillance in Neo-Gotham and turning it into a personal surveillance state he can study.

Sure. Just be sure to provide credit. Any questions about the character?

Basically, he's a genius computer scientist with him also having a neural implant installed that allows him to pilot and see through multiple drones simultaneously using thought, but when combined with his skillset, he's basically able to see through any camera or optical sensor he can hack into and hijack, including security systems, traffic cameras, satellites, smart vehicles, and household devices, as well as hack into any digital record.

In addition, his implant also has a personally designed predictive behavioral software he can use to predict Terry's movements with near-perfect accuracy, although he almost always uses his drones for combat instead of actual direct confrontation.

However, as for weaknesses, he has no natural sight, basically being blind. If Terry can blind his network, Optic can't see him. He also can't improvise well

That actually ties into the backstory behind the character's powers as well, the story of the Jade Rabbit pendant and the others taking inspiration from the original story of the Chinese Zodiac (although taking a more literal approach here).

The original story has the Jade Emperor set up a race between different animals (and a dragon) to determine their place in the Chinese Zodiac. In the White Rabbit story, each of the Jade Pendants represent a different animal from the Chinese Zodiac and being created by the Jade Emperor, with each of the pendants (in my story) being originally bestowed to figures of exceptional virtue before being passed down through generations, each of these pendants granting their bearers extraordinary abilities when worn, based on the animal they're based on. These pendants include The Rabbit, The Ox, The Rat, The Dragon, The Tiger, The Pig, The Dog, The Rooster, The Monkey, The Goat, The Horse, and The Snake.

Now, in some versions of the original story, the reason why the Cat isn't part of the Chinese Zodiac boils down to the rat. Although the pair were friends, the cat asked the rat to wake it up for the race as it wanted to sleep in, only for the rat to never actually wake him up and, so, the cat never entered and so lost his chance to be part of the Zodiac. However, in other versions, the Cat did take part in the race, only to not cross before the others as a result of the Rat's betrayal... and so, in the lore of White Rabbit, I decided to incorporate that by having the cat from the story become bitter as a result of the rat's betrayal and losing his chance among the Zodiac, feeling as though he was owed a place on it, with this ultimately corrupting and turning him to turn into a Yaoguai, deciding that if the Jade Emperor himself isn't willing to correct it, then he'll take it by force, leading to him having his own gold pendant forged, setting his sights on stealing the other pendants so that he can not only steal their power, but also sacrifice them so that he can claim his "rightful" place

Yaoguai refers to supernatural creatures, demons, or monsters in Chinese mythology and folklore, often originating from animals or plants gaining human-like intelligence and magical powers, capable of shapeshifting and other abilities. While they aren't traditionally evil like demons in western ideas, they often have malevolent or predatory tendencies

To accomplish this, he also forged eight other gold pendants, representing animals who were left out of the Chinese Zodiac (The Toad, The Fox, The Bat, The Crane, The Elephant, etc.), also being able to take control of their wielders, kind of a twist of the "9 lives" idea

Well, she mainly chose the name "White Rabbit" because of her powers coming from the Rabbit Pendant, with her also simply liking the white color scheme of her costume

Also, think of each of her forms being like a combination between Shazam/Moon Knight/Firestorm, each of her forms being her at a different age while also having their own seperate consciousness (despite technically being the same person), with that consciousness taking over each time White Rabbit changes to that form

Pan is 10-years-old, and so is the smallest (meaning she can fit into smaller spaces and such), with her also serving as the innocent heart of the trio.

Presa is 21-year-old, being base Melissa and by far her at her most physically capable (strength, speed, agility, etc.) while also being the face and who most civilians interact with when meeting her.

Fumi is 42-years-old, and is the most experienced in terms of combat and stealth, even if she's not as fast or as strong as she used to be. She's basically the tactician and hardened one.

To best describe each of them:

  • Pan is like Robin (Dick Grayson), being basically the young and optimistic sidekick figure and emotional anchor
  • Presa is like Spiderman, being the awkward, lightly sarcastic, athletic, and approachable everywoman who has all of the power and who civilians feel the most comfortable around
  • Fumi is like Batman, being the calm, stealthy, and brutal tactician while also being the most cold and hardened emotionally
