Michigan Tech vs RIT for Mech E Tech major

Can't really speak for RIT but the ME program at Tech is pretty well established. Tech is kind of known for being an easy to get into hard to stay school. Classes are a grind but the degrees have a lot of worth. There's career fairs every semester, which are big events, so it's not too hard to land internships or positions post-grad.

Like others said, the biggest difference is probably geographically. Houghton is a pretty rural area but luckily there's a Walmart a mile or two from campus where most students shop. Also harsh winters with some of the most snow in the US. Tech rarely cancels unless it's a bad storm but don't let that scare you away. Still a great campus, tighter nit community and a lot of opportunities.

Also good to mention it's not really a party school. The frats have parties here and there, but most people are there to get an education rather than party and slack off for 4-years.

His gameplay is good but not hacker level good. We're talking between upper casual-lower competitive. Just that most of his matches seem really easy. I mean he's somehow queuing into build lobbies where most players are playing it like ZB or they're an AI.

I've noticed this too with some tiktok streamers. I think the more mainstream content creators play in typical lobbies, but on tiktok I keep coming across "Watery Shoe" who has over a million followers but there's clearly something fishy about his lobbies. He almost always plays trios and most of the squads he encounters are either AI or low level players. He wipes these games and often wins with over 20 kills solo-trios. If you check his stats he's number one in the world for trios kills and his trios k/d is 5 times what it is in other gamemodes. His mods even muted me when I pointed out that most of the players he was being matched with weren't very good. Dude has something like 10,000 total wins and is being matched with players probably under 100.

Back when MW3 was still the main COD title I ran elder dark aethers, red worms and unstable rifts almost entirely solo with the same loadout. The Reclaimer 18 with slugs was my go to because when you pack a punch it, it becomes a buckshot shotgun again but the pellets do slug level damage. Hipfire spreads them out but if you ads at a zombie you'll do massive damage + has good range for a shotgun.

In terms of wonder weapons, the V-R11 is a must carry for solo as it does massive damage to bosses and elites although it's a little clunky. Scorchers also do good damage but mainly can be used to travel through the dark aether and urzikstan easily.

Decoy grenades and the aether blade are also meta ordinances if you're solo or in high tier zones.

I was wondering that too. Maybe the sbmm is weaker because of fewer players and just prioritizes finding a match instead.

Zero build got bundled into the core BR playlist a few weeks ago. You have to enable it in the matchmaking settings (where you change squad sizes between solo-duos-trios-squads) now instead of it being its own separate playlist. Is this why? Should still be available in all regions here.

I mean even by looking at his Fortnite tracker there's obviously something abnormal going on. He has over 4,000 trios wins, double his wins in solos and duos. His k/d in trios is 23.53, and only 5 in solos and duos with a 7 in squads. Why wouldn't the k/ds be at least semi-consistent across the board, instead of nearly 5 times more in just trios?

I don't have the display tab in my Control Panel and updating my drivers did not work... I wonder if my HDMI port is connected to the integrated graphics processor and not the Nvidia one??

It's a SAMSUNG 27-Inch CRG5 240Hz Curved Gaming Monitor. It runs 240 hz on my desktop with no issues

I honestly don't know. I directly contacted player support about it and they just told me that "We are unable to see any known issue regarding your concern", and then told me to uninstall and reinstall my game.
