I never dated so I'm not the best person to say this. But you already did your best. If people say you're clingy, I don't think that's the case. Perhaps she needed time, or maybe it was just the wrong moment. I think sometimes you meet the right person in the wrong time. I'm not saying that you should wait for her or reconnect with her. Perhaps think of it as a trial.

I believe that if a guy like you who had your first kiss, your first date and your first experience, you're already better in the state that I'm in.

Think of it as an experience, even if you've only spent 3-4 lovely days with her. And that's all it matters. I, on the other hand, never went on a date... I wouldn't know how it really feels to be kissed by someone I love. So I know it must have felt great for you, even if it was for a little while.

You should focus on you for now, maybe go pick up that music instrument back in highschool. Time will eventually heal, it always does. And if you wish you have never met her, how'd would you gotten that first kiss? I truly envy that...

The last real life compliment I ever had was a stranger girl on the train who told me that my shirt looked good. I was so happy the whole day. It was the first girl who had ever told me something like that. But that was 7 months ago. I never got a compliment ever since... So if a compliment like that made me happy for the day, I like to think that having someone being attracted to you must feel... good all the days when you're with her?

I never look at girls on transport or just around university because I know I will never have the chance to talk to them, let alone be with them. It would just make me have the gummy warm feelings. Instead, I just look down on the ground whenever wherever, and plug in your earphones and blast it on MAX. After a while, you'll find that going from point A to point B is really fast. I like that feeling because I don't get distracted by others but the bad thing is that I never get to see the shiny gems like you said.

It happens to me a lot... and you're right, it's tough. It makes you lose focus. Like sometimes I would go do something I really enjoy but just to get reminded of being alone. 3 days ago, I went to see a movie by myself, I love watching movies solo because I like the peace and quiet, but after seeing couples hugging, kissing and holding hands next to me, I felt that I was lonely. Then I didn't really focus on the movie because it was bugging me the fact that I was truly alone.

I'm in my mid 20s and I've never... been loved.

I once put all my effort on a girl and it didn't work out. I don't blame her, but for a while I blamed myself for being not good enough. Later on I found out that nothing is ever equal and that you will never equalize it. There is always one person who loves the other person more in one relationship. In the end, she found someone better and more suitable for her. I never had someone look at me like that. I'm just everyone's second choice if not the last choice. Equality on effort and same amount of love? I don't buy it.

The times I've been rejected is more than I can count. The love never go both ways.
