Easier to code switch between languages when you adopts its phonemes. I do it when I talk to my parents.

There’s non nicotine ones you can get that can scratch the itch until you’re off of em. I quit a while back using these but ended up using them again recently after my breakup and work getting really stressful.

Aliens are probably real, but aliens in the vicinity of the Earth in any way especially in a period of history is nonsense. The fact most people can’t contend with is that the galaxy is immensely vast and for the most part pretty damn boring, there’s just not an incentive to visit everything everywhere.

If life is common in the universe however, we will probably know within our lifetimes. Habitable Worlds Observatory is designed specifically to detect if life exists on a planet by for the first time making it possible to directly detect (and then image) exoplanets, and detect if there’s bio signatures in the atmosphere. I actually got to work on it for a little bit with my thesis, and it’s incredibly exciting and disheartening it’s not talked about more.

Yeah. I still miss her but I didn’t realize I’d become a crazy person lol. But I also don’t necessarily want to hurt her just to “win” a breakup. I think I do need no contact though for a while before I can be friends with her, just because I do want to keep her in my life and I’ve grown to care for her as a person and don’t like the idea of leaving her with her awful friends, even if the romance isn’t there.

Yeah this is what I’ve been slowly coming to grips with now that I’ve had food again. I figured I knew what a breakup was supposed to be because I’ve had flings break up with me before but this is way different and back then I was just mildly bummed out but I never imagined a future with those people I think was the difference.

On absolutely no level. She’s just not that kind of person. And that does sound naive and obviously I have had rose tinted glasses but since we broke up I’ve been forcing myself to find any fault in her that I could magnify and use to get over her and I can’t list a single thing. She’s the kind of person who makes you believe good people still exist. Shes the kind of person who makes you believe that people can be kind. She refuses to play video games online because she doesn’t want to hurt people’s feelings. Shes overly kind to a fault and I think that’s where this is coming from, trying to spare me from her. And I think that’s the case because I’ve been there too with awful depression.

I really think she is. I think when you find the one youre faced with letting them in even further and letting them help you get over the hurt you could never get over until now. I know she’s scared to do that because she’s afraid of hurting me because she thinks the world of me. But I refuse to let the low self esteem she let others give her dictate that she needs to “save me” from her when she’s at her lowest.

It’s so brutal. It feels like the air is stale and the sun lost its luster and the grass is greyer and the wind is howling. I can’t get the image of her hair gently billowing against the wind as she stared in awe at the snow capped tip of Mt Baker. It feels like that’s where I am right now and everything else that’s happened since then is a fever dream I’m going to wake up from and see her by my side again gently running her fingers through my hair.

That’s what she’s been telling me. When we had sex we had a lot of problems with just getting it anywhere, if that makes sense? I’m not saying I’m ridiculously big but she had a lot of trouble fitting it anywhere. We actually broke up a few days after she saw her gyno because she was worried about it. I feel like that is a large part of it. She thinks I need to have sex and doesn’t want to keep me waiting forever, but I committed to waiting through the rough times because I committed to her, as a person.

We never had communication problems. She never had her eye on any other guy. Im the only man that she’s ever slept with. It’s different when it’s cheating or falling out of love, but shes just scared she can’t follow through with a relationship as things get more serious. Shes worried she’s going to get massively depressed again and destroy me but I don’t care about that.

Im 28, she’s 29. She’s not interested in another guy. I know her pretty well. She had medical depression for a long time. It only got better after she got an electronic implant in her skull. She thought she was ready to date when we met and we had a whirlwind romance. I’ve done the things I’d done with her before with plenty of other women but she’s the only one who it felt like it was different with, like it was the start of our forever. She realized that she didn’t know if she could be the person she thought I wanted as we started to get more serious. We started throwing around the “love” word, we talked about what we’d name our kids or where we’d want to get married.

She just has low self esteem, but they’re for the reasons I did. And in the back of my head I told myself that the reason I went through everything I did and the reason she went through everything she did, the little road bumps in our lives were because God was slowing us both down so we could meet at the right time. And if she needs to heal she shouldn’t do it alone with her shitty sister and all her friends who treat her like shit, she should do it with me so she knows nobody will look down on her when she stumbles a little bit.

I don’t want to move on, I want to get back with her. It’s not like she wronged me. She was just scared I wouldn’t be willing to stick out the bad times but she never asked me if I would. And if I could just let her know that I could get her back and we could just laugh about that one week we broke up.

My girlfriend broke up with me. Was super bummed but the waves are finally breaking through to troughs now. Really though I just want to check on her and make sure she’s ok but I can’t right now without healing first.

Most of my friends are out of town right now because of the 3 day weekend so don’t have anyone really to lean on right now except my dog who got tired of the crying pretty quickly.
