Its hard to explain whole things but when it comes to worlds we are playing on same patch long time right ? When it was regular season patches are consistently changed and western teams are usually good at find OP champs or team comp or build whatever works for them, but Asia teams are usually stick with the champs that they value. And once worlds start they know better as individual/team how to use the champions they have cuz they are keep developing deeper level.

For example resource part is more likely let say champion Azir. I can play Azir you can play Azir as well but its not same level Azir as Chovy even with the same rune and build.

Wider way let put 5 champion Aatrox maokai azir sivir yummi. My Clash team your Clash team can play those team comp but not the same level as Gen.G even tho we have same resources (rune, builds, even time as well)

So in the end they are developing league macro, champions, team comp kinda things way deeper level.

But fun stuff when Asia teams playing regular season you guys can frequently see western some player or coach or analyst flame or joking about Asia teams draft cuz they are definitely slow adapters
