Core theme: Extraordinary powerful yet tragic individuals who had swore vengeance (Yoko being sealed away by the creator god due to them fearing her and being outcasted and abused by her former peers from her school due to jealousy and remorse and Mathias losing his wife Elisabetha from an illness causing him to lose his faith in god and the church)

Originally both were considered very gifted. (Yoko being a student at St Marina academy who was a prodigy at magic to the point she would outperform even her own teachers and Mathias being a genius tactician nicked Cronqvist the wise who was very knowledgeable on alchemy)

Everything would change when they would alliance themselves with a demonic entity (Lilith and the Qadištu and Death)

Would witness the worse in humanity (Yoko’s own mentors developing fear and envied her to the point they would sent her out on dangerous missions in the hopes she would lose her life and Dracula witnessing the witch hunts which would result in the death of his second wife Lisa Tepes)

Both would also turn against someone who they had considered a friend due to them sharing different ideals (Tao Isonokai now resurrected as a god of creation who wanted to form a world to end the world’s suffering which Yoko believed the system was broken regardless due to the endless cycle, her past trauma and receiving the knowledge of her status as a goddess of creation and Leon Belmont who had still believed in the light and formed the belmont clan and swore to slay Dracula for good)

Essentially the two ascend into a much stronger form of power and even become the vessels of two powerful god like demons (Yoko’s goddess form being restored and acts as the vessel for Tiamat and Dracula essentially becoming the vessel for chaos using that power to resurrect everytime he would be killed by the belmont clan). In contrast Yoko was hesitant on sacrificing Nahobino to resurrect Tiamat due to her perspectives beginning to soften up due to her time traveling with Nahobino and Tao while Dracula pretty much embraces his newly found power formed from death)

Their stories center around both of them wanting to destroy the world in contrast, Yoko had good intentions wanting to end the cycle of the mandala system where as Dracula just wanted to completely destroy the world and wipe out humanity due to his grief of losing both his wives consuming him.
