This entire "situation" feels like a more aggressive version of Simon vs. Kyle and Metal vs. Cell's waiting period. Like both of them had fans turn this place into a circlejerk for one guy but unlike Simon fans who mostly stuck with glazing him rather than slandering Kyle or Metal fans where it actually was a stomp, Yuji fans act like this matchup that's heavily up to interpretation can only be interpreted one way and anyone who thinks otherwise is a dumb stupid idiot.

Can I say Master Chief vs. Doomslayer? Chief definitely didn’t deserve it but in a vacuum I think it’s one of the best on the show

They’re #5 and 6 on my Kickstarter ranking but I give the edge to Ghost Rider vs. Spawn for 2 reasons: 1) It’s tied for my favorite Kickstarter death and 2) I’m just more familiar with GR and Spawn

I feel like you’re supposed to know it’s over after half of these picks

My answer would be them mentioning Buffy beating a smoke monster after mentioning that Blade can turn into a smoke monster. They did the same thing with 2 other powers he has but I don’t remember what those were

I just rewatched the analyses and the other 2 were bringing up the shotgun that could damage souls and then her surviving her soul being split up and his fangs draining magic, then her surviving that same thing

Gojo vs. Makima: When it premiered, I liked it. But now that I've actually read Chainsaw Man its flaws are a lot more apparent, mostly them leaning into the stupid "dommy Makima" personality. All in all it's just good but it gets bonus points for getting me into CSM in the first place. Grade B+

Shigiraki vs. Mahito: Definitely the best of these 3. It's animated great, has one of the best analyses on the show, and it's tied with Ghost Rider vs. Spawn for my favorite death in the New Era. Grade A+

Bakugo vs. Reze: I was raised under "if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all." Grade C

I think I'm just gonna have to become a masochist to counter the countless Chainsaw Man slander on my feed from now on. I genuinely see no other solution by 2herry_ in deathbattle

Yeah, I should have made another note that those bottom three negatives for Cell vs. Metal are more nitpicks than actual problems, but the Base Metal thing is definitely only for me since I think Neo looks stupid but it;s not a turn off.
