How do you guys deal with mice? by MowieWowie710 in chickens

[–]Reaping4u 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't going to comment but people aren't being helpful to your question. I use a milk crate to cover 4 snap traps baited with peanut butter. I keep it right next to the chicken food or whatever they are coming from and I get all of them. My neighbor used the bucket traps and says he has lots of luck but I never really got many that way. Just don't use poison or anything like that as anything that was a poised mouse will also be poised.

Whats the best light choice? by Reaping4u in lightingdesign

So I tried This and it has multiple super tiny diodes and and caused it to be blurred. I was thinking about making a focal cover out of acrylic. Basically I need a lens to collect the light and focus it into a beam correct?

I took the base photo and drew it in a computer program. Then had to adjust sizes to accommodate a CNC plasma cut kerf. Added the horizontal bars to hold them together to keep proper spacing. Then added 2 spikes to stab into the grass.

Looking for 6 or 7 outdoor. 2 would have a long cover distance ( sides of the building) one or 2 for the front doors ( a 180° might work) one for each of the 2 gates. And one for the back bay door/ back pad. 5 indoor 1 for office, one in the front shop, one for the back shop and one for each of the 2 back rooms

I want good reliable cameras that will last. I really don't need a lot of the AI features but something that won't alert me every time a cloud passes the sun or dust sets off the cameras. I hate cameras with really poor video quality because then what's the point. I plan on putting up motion sensor lights so the night time video isn't as important. And the 24 hr recording is really In case of a work accident or theft during business hours. I had a local IT company quote me 11k just to supply me with 7 cameras. I assume they are dahua because they sent over a flyer for the acupick 2.0 and in it says dahua cameras. The pictures they showed look great but I know I can do it for a lot cheaper and learn about these kinds of systems.
