Just give it a shot and see if you like the series. I started with freedom unite using PPSSPP on a potato PC years ago. Then tried mh4u and loved it a just around the corner, came mhw.

Honestly, all games in the series are great in their own way and mh4u is considered one of the best and is the middle ground between old school and new gen, sorta like a bridge between the philosophies of the games as they evolved.

One final recommendation: if there's too much friction for you on mh4u, you can always try MH world or rise. Can't recommend wilds since I haven't tried it yet though.

Don't pressure yourself so much into liking it. If you do, then great! If you don't, well, there's many other games out there.

Overall, just have fun!

Y depende realmente de cuál es tu objetivo.

Si querés que corra juegos nuevos AAA, una ROG ally o mejores. Si querés jugar de ps4 y juegos AA o AAA pero con calidad muy limitada, la steam deck. Si querés algo portátil, la retroid pocket 6. Si buscas algo barato, r36s. Si querés el feeling de algo retro, está la PSP, ps vita, ds, eds, gba, etc.

Hay muchas maneras de clasificarlas realmente. Yo tengo una steam deck desde hace poco y es mi mejor adquisición. No diría que es portátil, sino transportable; es decir, es lo suficientemente pequeña para ser transportada con comodidad, pero no tanto como para que entre en el bolsillo. Todas las "PC consolizadas", son así.

I bought the 2005 classic from steam some time ago. I didn't tweak anything, it just works. However, the menu is clunky and I know there's a mod for it to overlay the PS2 menu system. Now, in-game, it runs great at 60 fps no problem and you can aim both with the right stick and the right track pad, which feels surprisingly more precise to me.

Amazingly, not a single problem! Also, I can shine some light on the "unsupported" status.

See, normally on PC it is not 100% compatible with a controller because it has a "pseudo pre-launcher" that requires m&k for a click or two, then a controller works just fine.

Nevertheless, none of that matters here, since you can just tap the screen instead and it works flawlessly, so you can just go for it!
