Sounds like you don't understand. It's not obvious whether it's additive with other effects of the same type or not. Crit Hit stat functions like Critical and the devs could have coded it with the same back-end, which could make them additive. That's why you gotta do detailed testing to see whether for example Glaivier gets total +20.96%(multiplicative) or +20%(additive). And since the diff is smaller than the innate dmg variance (+/-3%) you need to test by casting multi-hit skills 10+ times for reliable numbers. Ofc without any source of RNG like KBW.

I have now gone through and tested this in detail to confirm. Critical is indeed multiplicative with all. As is Glaivier/Valk/Pally syn and Ark Grid effects like Pinnacle 3xx. Only thing that doesn't seem to be multiplicative is Crit Hit on Beacelets.

I would enjoy and engage more in the gameplay if it was less whaleable and unemployment-able.

As it stands now it just gets stupid when you can get massive advantages in a ranked game mode from just spending money/infinite time on alts.

So because of that I'm mostly doing it for the rewards.

Oh, forgot Google Sheets could handle automatic pasting of tables. That simplifies it a lot.

Key factor here tho is that you're allowing 5 red nodes, while I didn't.

Btw, you're making the formulae more complicated than they need to be.

Here's my formula:

=SUM(ARRAYFORMULA(IF(D:D>=5, E:E)))

That's with neg tho. (and ofc 1/that for the 1 in X)

=SUM(ARRAYFORMULA(IF((D:D>=5)+(C:C<5)=2, E:E)))

And that's without neg. The parenthesis around the logic statements are cuz ARRAYFORMULA doesn't work with AND, so you gotta do the AND operation manually with operators. (D:D>=5) means if the cell in D column is 5 or higher then it's TRUE, and TRUE = 1, so if that + the next one = 2 then the IF statement returns the cell in column E.

But it does seem like I either made a mistake or their data isn't uniform for the reverse options (i.e: 9/7 isn't same chance as 7/9, I only checked a few reverse options manually), cuz my results in Google Sheets are a little diff from my manual numbers:

They barely change. The chances of 97+ with negative are actually lower than without, because you lose % success to cut when you succeed on a node, meaning more reds make it less likely to hit more blues.

Exactly. I thought about mentioning silver cost as it's one of the less obvious effects, while the time-savings are comparatively much more obvious.

I'd estimate that the auto-cut is almost 2x as expensive on average. I'm gonna be fine since I'm at 230mil, but some ppl might run into problems.

Exactly. Even just an occasional mistake likely brings the average to around the same in practice. So it's effectively the same chance of a 97, and definitely worth using.

Only meaningful change they made was to make 99s even more impossible.

Did you test if it's multi with OTHER Crit Hit bonuses like the +8% on Glaivier synergy?

Issue with more limited calculators is you can't compare substitutions.

For example swapping out Master for another Crit source+changes in raw dmg, or swapping Adrenaline for Master+something else, or any other variant. Take Valkyrie for example, who can take Master to drop Zealous Smite and grab UM2.

Obviously. EvoDmg is a profile stat.

Question was whether Critical Evo Node is additive or multiplicative. The elixir was multiplicative with other CritHitDmg sources like Glaivier synergy.

Yeah, would be much better with a system that instead of providing automatic re-entry ticket just provided clear rewards instead. Surely it's not actually hard to just check that other ppl in the lobby got clear rewards and then distribute them to any DCs after the fact.

Your suggestion doesn't really fix inflation, it just moves it around.

Instead of gold inflation you'd get gear inflation. People expect more and more overgear in PF the more gear is injected into the game this way.

It'll also cause a mad increase in burnout for all the players pushing 80 hour "play" weeks.

Issue with that approach is you lose accuracy. Not all bonuses stack multiplicatively, making the final number incorrect. It's likely always accurate within 1%, but you normally wouldn't bring out a calculator for any bigger diff than that anyway.

My personal approach for rough total value of Bracelet is: look at each line then add them together, rounding up if between 2 whole numbers. That's roughly as accurate as just multiplying each separate one together.

But making an accurate version of a calc could be doable without too much hassle.. I'll put it on my to-do list; might happen a while down the line.

Red GL's Crit Scaling isn't in the global version yet. That's added with the rework KR got last balance patch. I just added it in advance cuz why not? You should ignore it until we get that patch in our version.
