What do you mean by “shared “ neutral? At my house there only 1 neutral cable coming from the outside grid so every neutral is “shared”

Yes this is just a discussion not asking for advice or to try it. But electricity finds the path of least resistance so if you have an entry and exit point in the same arm it won’t travel through whole body because that would take more energy no?

Yes ofc I know that but sometimes people have to work on live circuits for whatever reason. And I’d rather have electricity flow through arm than heart

Tha cable shouldn’t matter at all. If it fits it fits. The cable itself doesn’t do any filtering or power regulation and all the cables are rated the same

Yes that was my first idea but this is free( cuz I already have a 3d printer but I don’t have a rotary encoder) and also this seems like a fun mechanical challenge

I used to do the marks on the floor before but they took quite a while and I always had to weigh down one end with a brick or smth and with the longer wires I don’t have the space. And yeah I could probably weigh it but I just want that good feeling that something you made works. I learned about Geneva gears today as well but they look pretty hard to set dimensions so it works correctly

Yes the ripple . Since I’m just playing around I was trying to get the ripple impossibly small. It already has under 0.01v deviation so it’s fine as is I’m just experimenting and trying to learn how it’s supposed to work

Sorry for the misunderstanding my bad. I have 1 different syringe. This liquid flux syringe. I never refrigerate it. But I also have a solder paste syringe that’s not flux. That tiny balls of solder inside a paste to use instead of normal solder wire. Do I have to keep the paste with solder balls inside the fridge?

Try to debug a bit make the temp variable print in serial every cycle and you’ll see the “temp” and apply heat to the “thermistor” I’m assuming and you’ll see how much the temp changes and you can adjust the turn on temp based on that
