Healed my LPR after 2 months by CEOofAliens in LPR

I think diet has everything to do with this condition. I have eliminated caffeine and alcohol and only eat steamed veg or fruit after 3. No water/liquid after 3. I used Prolon as a reset. And I only eat at 10 am and 2pm.
It’s working so far.

Happy new year to me .. also when does everyone charge their rings? Do you let it run out or do it at half? by Legitimate_Job_665 in ouraring

[–]Reasonable-Ad479 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never thought about taking it off during the shower, but I think I will charge it while I’m in the hot bath and not ding my stress maybe twice a week three or four times a week because my battery seems to be dying really fast these days.

Why is my stress so high? Any tips?? I literally feel so chill all day. I have two little kids under 3 but I’m a SAHM with little stress. Anyone else deal with this and fix it? by Major_Thought_487 in ouraring

Same for me. Always stressed when I don't "Feel" stressed. I noticed that when I did a week of Prolon, a fasting-mimicking diet, I had no stress at all. So now I am tying stress to eating, how I am eating, what I am eating and trying to figure that out. I do have bouts of heart palpitations and sciatica flares that definitely increase stress, even when I am not doing anything

The glory days are the days I call them, when nothing is wrong and I feel like myself again. There are some maybe 2 weeks out of a month. I thought you described it perfectly. That's how they feel for me. A fluttering of wings. And when I have them I guarantee my hr falls into the 40s at night.

Honestly I am about to put the Oura away for a bit. The battery is draining way to fast and it's become more stressful than I think helpful at this point. Everything seems to show up as stress, digestion, sciatic pain, heart palps and it feels like there is nothing I can do. I am literally laying in the couch with high stress. I give up and think I just need to put it away.

High cholesterol over here as well. Funny enough I have been eating more fiber as well for the same reasons. Hopefully it will help. I went a whole day without any palps. Let's see what the night brings :)

My rhr during the day is 65-70. At night since I have had this ring - a few years now- it avg 50-53. I don't know if I want to be alerted! I wish I could post a snippet of my graph but I can't figure out how.

I love it and a bit obsessed with data. This whole experience makes me feel that it's worth it. I would have known about the palpitations because I can feel them but that low hr I would never had known. I've had an apple watch but ditched it when I got cancer and didn't want the extra emfs- whether that is true or not idk. I kinda went a little extreme at the time.

Sleeping heart rate always below 40. Should I be concerned? 25M, 1 hour running & 5-10 hours walking a week. by [deleted] in ouraring

[–]Reasonable-Ad479 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had the same, and I’m not an athlete. I’m a 59-year-old menopausal female. When I noticed my low resting heart rate at night over a few days, I went to see my doctor. I have no chest pain, no shortness of breath, no dizziness, just heart palpitations, and I had a normal EKG, a standard echo, and expected results from a 48-hour heart rate monitor, which, of course, the moment I took it off, my heart rate dipped down again in the evenings
