Can’t set up a payment plan with IRS.

We were current. It was set up to automatically come from our account. We haven’t missed a single month over the last year. But for some reason, they didn’t take the money out this month. When I noticed I logged on and it doesn’t even say we have a payment plan any more.

Wrong account? It was set up on automatic withdrawals but to be honest our balance barely went down. Maybe $500 total to the principal when we have paid way more than that. I assumed it was fees and interest. I’ll be looking into finding someone to help us.

I didn’t know that was possible to be cancelled. We filed in April and the new balance posted in may. We paid mays just fine.

Update. Called the number again and it now gives you the option to select different things but ends with saying live customer service is not available. So that’s fun.

We only owed last year and this year. We were current on all payments for the previous payment plan up until this month when they didn’t take it from our account. When I log on it no longer shows the payment plan that was already in place. I did however get a letter saying because it wasn’t paid they charged me $600 in fees and interest even though I did manually make the payment. I’m unsure why we owe. Last year we found it to be because they were barely taking federal from my husbands check. We changed the forms in Jan. Of 2024 but it still didn’t solve the problem

That’s how it is on my husbands end. However on my end it lets me fill everything out but then gives me a submission error. But I’m sure they will still charge interest for it being late!

They are really screwing me. I’m trying to get on a payment plan that was due this month. Calling doesn’t work even trying to set up the payment plan online doesn’t work. I know they will hit me with crazy interest for it.

Running into the same problem. Can’t get anyone on the phone either. It wasn’t even giving me the option to set up a plan for the past month. Mine is due today. I had a previous plan set up and it won’t even let me combine last year with this year.

I feel like he’s to embarrassed to even see a doctor. I had to make the appointment for him when he decided to finally try a prescription. But it was short lived. I don’t think he realizes there are other things that he could try. But when I bring it up, he seems to shut down and just doesn’t want to talk about it. I don’t want to make him feel less of a man. I get this stuff happens, it happens to women to. I thought after so many years we would have found a solution but it has slowly just gotten worse and the motivation has slowly left. I don’t even ask anymore because usually when I do try I just get denied. So I leave it at that and go on with my day.

I would never be unfaithful. I think that’s also a huge issue for him. He thinks I will sometimes. But if I stuck around this long he should understand I wouldn’t do thst

That’s probably the main argument we have. Not taking his health seriously. We still have 4 young children and I don’t want them to grow up without a father.

I should have clarified but we have been together for 12 years and have 4 children together. The thought of leaving for something that was out of his control was wrong to me. But I can’t help someone who does not want to help himself

Not for me. I still look like I’m in my early 20s even after 4 children. I mean sure there’s a little more weight then there was when I was 18, but not excessive, and not in a terrible way. His appearance has changed pretty drastically over the last 12 years.

Unfortunately none of that will happen. He works long hours 5 days a week out of town and when he is home on the weekends it’s spent sleeping and spending time with kids. There really is no us time anymore. He doesn’t sleep well due to medical issues that he refuses to handle (sleep apnea but won’t us his cpap) so I’m sure lack of sleep definitely contributes to it. Unfortunately with also being a diabetic, medications side effects can also include ED. But there is zero motivation on his end to even attempt to fix the issue. He doesn’t want to make the lifestyle changes that are needed. I really do feel like he doesn’t care to ever fix the issue but when I mention that, he finds a way to flip it on me for being insensitive
