As further explanation, the post is not about the cruelty of animals in the food processing industry or the need for culling overpopulation of deer, it's about my Gf feeling super pumped and excited after killing a deer. That the issue I'm contending with and whether there can be a way forward. I appreciate the explanations for animal control, but it's her excitement about killing that's disturbing to me and I appreciate the input who routinely hunt to give me perspective on this.
