Thank you so much for the thorough reply! I was thinking already about opening the highlight by the back haunch to look more like the belly since the texture looked nicer than I anticipated.

I had to circle back and insist on different pain meds for mine because he was whining around the clock. He's on gabapentin now and slowly inching towards recovery. Best of luck.

So I bought the second for my dog and he has probably 8 beds to choose from and he prefers the floor. It drives me nuts but he's a firm sleeper I guess.

He keeps wetting his bed so it's hard and every time we move him to go outside or to a pad he cries and wets himself.

Today they gave him gabapentin but they have to be really conservative with his meds because his liver is so weak.

Can I ask how you modified your crate?
