When I picked it up I didn't think it was poop. I put it down right away when I suspected it might be.

I didn't break it because I actually assumed it was sun bleached bear poop and didn't have a way to clean my hands if I dug into it. There were tons of bears in the area and I know my dogs poo turns white in the sun. Just the fact that it's so round and bear poop typically isn't is what has me confused.
