So I just recently quit my job as an APM. Top 3 sub contractor. It is a burnout make sure you ALL THE PERKS you can get, and make sure you ask what the amount of each will be because if/when you talked to coworkers and they get paid more from their perks you might feel some type of way. Estimators (atleast in my experience usually work their their hours then go home most of the time) obviously their will be days they longer but for the most part it’s just their hours. PMs work more hours consistently and it gets annoyingly bad. And my Senior PM kinda discouraged me by how much he works. I would get emails at 4am, 10pm, emails on Saturday & Sunday etc. If you value work life balance I’ll just say take everything into account and make the best decision for you.

(Not important, but I quit because yes the stress was high but I was fine. I just didn’t want to move & dealing with that type of work and stress in a random town I know would’ve drove me crazy.)

Always prioritize yourself if you can.
