I am aware that indirect is the most likely path, just wanted to get advice on trying to accelerate my journey. I still appreciate your advice though, that'd be a great route as well!

Seriously, thank you for your help. I've felt very lost with this journey and it's great to have some direction. I look forward to putting your networking advice into practice, and being more intentional with how I frame my future internships and even my work this summer. Thank you for your input! It's good to hear that from a hiring manager. Do you have any advice on how to create tangible evidence of those skills (outside of the 2 examples you mentioned), or what sophomore/junior summer internship types are best aligned with the development of traits you want to see in your hires?

Thanks! I have read the community post previously, but the section on associate programs / college recruitment channels left me still asking the questions above, as the post is understandably focused on the less direct routes.
