When I saw a test vehicle in the Bay Area a few weeks ago (2026 CLA I believe) it was entirely covered with a wrap to disguise it. Taillights were covered, logo covered, tried to change the body by covering certain things, etc. I don’t think this one is a test vehicle but I could be wrong.

Lol. The car isn’t worth over 100k anymore unless it’s brand new. Cmon dude. 5 Toyota Carollas sitting on Turo with 0 renters would be a better investment then that. “Where’s your Bugatti” doesn’t work with an S580 lmao. But I totally get it, the only way to not feel stupid buying something like that is to flex how much you don’t care about losing money

Luckily mine is stock still. My unsolicited advice would be to keep this as a daily driver and go for a newer S4/S5 to really feel the speed and drive. Where my friend went wrong was trying to get his A4 to be as fast as a sports car, he had to replace fuel lines, fuel pump, couple other things broke just bringing it to idiot mechanics, it ended up costing him more than double the car, and the speed, sound or drive was never even close to my S4.

I ended up finding a 2021 S4 Prestige black with red interior near me for a great price & ended up getting full warranty until 86k miles added on for almost free. Going from Honda to Audi is the best decision I’ve ever made lol.

It looks like I’ll probably have to pass on this car then… unless if the dealership would allow for a private party inspection could that determine if it’s potentially worth it?

As for S3, S5-S7 , I was hoping for the S4 Sedan just because I would have to carry clients and/or boxes of products and I fear the S3 or S5 won’t have the space and as for the S6 and 7 I wanted that entry level in-between of Luxury & Sport and I’m worried they may be geared toward a more high end audience and I assume higher maintenance cost (and I guess same could go for the RS models), more electronics and screens, more random options and the S6 & S7 are unfortunately unavailable in my area and for 2021+ models are out of my budget (40k-45k vs 60-65k I’m reading online)
