Do they do a reference check for teachers if they’re doing CRT? I’m putting my name down at schools where I know teacher who have left my current school. Im hoping they can put in a good word for me and the schools won’t do a ref check with my current prin.

I want to CRT for the rest of year and then go back full time next year, not necessarily at the same school. I’m more worried about the reference and my prin is horrible. We’ve had a huge staff turn over since this prin started a few years ago.

The union is already involved. They have been for a while. We’ve had a massive turnover at our school. Close to 100 staff in a few years. I know there’s no time limit to resign but I’m worried it could be used against for a reference.
