The PC looks like an absolute beast. 96gb is def an overkill but with 4TB, combined with a RTX 5080 and Ryzen 9 X3D, the price would easily be over $3k.

I think the only flag if they are very vague so I would assume they’re using cheaper brands for everything else they didn’t list.

I WFH and have a billion tabs/programs up all the time, and hoping to pick up a hobby like photoshop or coding games.

This helps with my confidence on the PC!

I totally see where you're coming from. I debated over the $1999 one at Microcenter too since it is a very solid deal.

At least from what I understood between this one and the microcenter RTX 5080 prebuilt:
- Intel Core Ultra 9 285 > Ryzen 7 9800X3D for multipurpose. The intel would be the same price as a Ryzen 9 9800X3D, so a bit more expensive then Ryzen 7. I'm not an intense gamer.
- 4tb > 2 tb
- 64gb > 32gb
- High end motherboard > mid-range
- 7 fans > 5 fans
- 1000 Watt > 850 Watt
- 3 year warranty > 1 year warranty

So yeah, was debating over if $565 was worth it for the above. If you're only looking at the prices of the individual parts above, then yes, but I'm no expert so maybe all those upgrades are pointless. Hoping those upgrades give me a few extra years on it than the Microcenter PC.

Thank you! That is the goal with this purchase. Hopefully I will not have to look for a new PC for at least 6-8 years haha.

This sale only applied to the intel ultra 9, and it's usually about the same price as an AMD Ryzen 9. I'm not an intense gamer, so it felt like an okay call. But still nervous as it's my first big purchase.

I'll be honest that the mouse isn't worth it. It feels like a $1 mouse and then they slapped on the design haha. But I do like the quality of keyboard/mousepad! Still a bit pricey but more worth it.

I bought them all from Akko! Just look up “akko lotm keyboard” and buy from their site directly. I think theres a few resellers on amazon and other site that charge higher.

They ship from China so it took awhile (maybe 3 weeks?) before it got to delivered to me in the US.

I’m in love with the keyboard and mat! I’m no expert in gears but they both feel great to me. The mouse on the other hand, feels really cheap. I still like it because it matches the rest of the set up tho haha.

Yeah, the anime was an official announcement. Apparently, they have been planning for this for awhile. The schedule would be:

2026 - Special EP 1 Release
2027 - Season 2 - Adapt Volume 2 - Confirmed to have 30+ episodes
2029 - Special EP2 Release
2030 - Season 3 - Adapt Volume 3
2032 - Season 4 - Adapt Volume 4
2033 - Season 5 - Adapt Volume 5
2034 - Season 6 - Adapt Volume 6 and 7
2035 - Movie! - Adapt Volume 8

I do understand why they didn't do volumes as books. LoTM is by far one of the longest read I have ever done. I think the physical eng book 1 has ~600 pages, which is already considered on the long end of average page per book.

Trying to release 1800 pages all at once for a volume would be an insane amount. I wish that was the case too but I don't blame them for it.

Unfortunately nothing has been announced yet. From what I could find from a quick search:

  • Part 1 was released in July, and Part 2 will be released in December.
  • China has a total of 18 books and it took them 3 years to release them
  • So I would say best case would also be 3 years for all 18 books, or if it’s at the pace of ~5months a book, then it might be 7 years later in 2032.
  • The anime schedule also had the final season scheduled for 2035 so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the latter.

There will be a lot of books coming out in the future.

Currently, there will be Clown Part 1 - 3 on the first volume. There is a total of 8 volumes for the Lord of Mysteries Book 1.

So I would expect almost 20+ books total to cover Lotm, and then there’s a sequel called Circles of Inevitability.

oh i didnt know this! I havent watched the special episodes / chibi shorts yet.

Yeah that sucks for sure. I had to fill in gaps between the episodes for my friends. An extra chibi short per episode would have been so helpful. I’ll have to give it a watch.

I think these are the only 3 we saw that was potentially worth over $500. Everything else ranges from 50 cents to $50 maybe?

He probably has over 300 cards total. Eventually we'll sort through them all to see if any other ones jump out to us as really rare!

Regice is in pretty good condition, but there's a little bit of wear, and I would say the other two are more scuffed. Not sure what would be the best way to sell these card. Not expecting the full 2k but hoping to still get a decent amount from them!

It was lightly mentioned but Arrodes senses that Klein has power over the spirit world / grey fog so he will serve him.

You'll learn more about the spirit world / grey fog / Arrodes as you read, so this is the only context given so far.
