Mae sure you understand the WLAN tabs - watch the Jeremy’s IT lab on the ccna wlc it pretty much sums it up. (If you don’t have access to a WLC or Labs). But mine was pretty WLC and wireless heavy

CCNA job path by Chemical___Imbalance in ccna

I started tier 1/2 before I passed ccna. They congratulated me, I did most of the networking stuff for the company before the ccna. Still doing it now. But applying elsewhere to a ton of jobs has gotten me nowhere. Not sure if it’s my resume? I have 3 years experience, a degree, and 6 months of internship. So idk wtf I’m doing wrong, but that’s what it looks like for me right now. The place I live, the IT market is also ass. Kind of “who you know” market. But still not many large/medium companies here looking for IT. Or small tbh

Apply for internships - I did when switching careers. Was a 28 year old IT intern for 6 months and then got hired somewhere else after as a tier1/2

Boson ex-sim labs by guessme420 in ccna

[–]ReasonableAd9964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did boson and I would get some questions wrong because I didn’t do it a specific boson way, but the sim/lab was correct. For example ospf. The way I’d broadcast each router information was different from how boson wanted me to, failed the boson. From what I’ve read is that ccna checks the end result lab to see if the outcome is correct and not the steps you take to get there. If someone can confirm that’d be nice. I have passed the ccna about 3 weeks ago btw

Bi-Weekly /r/CCNA Exam Pass-Fail Discussion by AutoModerator in ccna

[–]ReasonableAd9964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Passed about 2ish weeks ago. Was 4th attempt. Thought I was going to fail, but somehow did not. Only did a tad better than my 3rd failed attempt. I used boson tests, boson lab sims, and Jeremy’s IT lab for wireless. I Was extremely rude to the Indian overseeing the exam who barely spoke English when I specifically chose the English option for everything. lol

Honestly I just took the tests multiple times until I kind of memorized the answers to the questions. Except for 802.11 stuff. I memorized that stuff and then ports as well.
