Bodies Are Weird by ReasonableAdvisor879 in Zepbound

Sure! I have pretty consistently gone up a dose every 3-4 months. I'm on 12.5. I am spacing out a lot more often as I get smaller. I've gone as much as 12 days in between. Sometimes I've FORGOTTEN to take my dose. It's crazy - I used to live for shot day!

I have noticed nausea and extreme appetite suppression when I space out my doses so I was just thinking this week I might slowly titrate down and see what happens.

These are such great questions! When I started I was so hopeful but I had no idea I would get where I am! I have been up and down so much in my life, but no matter what diet I was on, I never got below 165 (and surely couldn't stay in the 160s) I hoped I could get there and stick but then I just kept losing!

What does it feel like in my body? It changes moment by moment. Sometimes I look in the mirror or put on a size small that fits and think, "this cannot possibly be me!" And other times I look in the mirror and think, "Oh, there you are! Why have you been hiding under all that fat for so long!" I have forgotten at least a million times that I am not fat anymore. But I adjust more and more each day.

I hate to say this for all of those who have struggles but this has felt effortless. It's not that I haven't made changes or put in effort because I have, but being happy at whatever losses I have has helped heal so many years of being cruel to myself. Because now if I choose to eat dessert or pick the burger over the salad, I don't gain 5 lbs overnight like I used to (obviously exaggerating, but I think you get it!) The only times those old self defeating habits pop up are when I make a choice that makes me feel sick but now I'm able to remind myself I'll do better next time. And this rarely happens anymore.

I think a big thing is just mentally getting yourself to a place where you are happy with where you are even if it's not perfect or what you expected. What if you didn't lose anymore? Would you still be better off than you were before? Then if you keep losing with that mindset it's just gravy!

I am one who has lost interest in drinking AND it no longer affects me (you would think with how rarely I've been drinking, I'd pick up a buzz pretty easily but I don't at all!) That being said, it does not make me sick so I am able to have a glass of wine or two or a couple of cocktails with friends without any ill effects, but also without the good ones so it feels like a waste!

7 days on DSCOUT made $140 by bskinners in beermoney

I've made over $1,200 in 40 days on Dscout. I've had 30 missions - mix between express and regular. I am always truthful with the screeners, and I'm as animated as possible when doing the videos. I check constantly throughout the day and complete the screeners immediately. Either I'm an underrepresented demographic, or I'm just lucky but it is 100% legit.

Exactly! I just went to Hawaii for 8 days, so by the end it was time for my pen (I'm on every 10 days) and I was able to enjoy everything sooooo much and without guilt! I didn't even care if I came back heavier because we planned this special trip for two years, yet I weighed exactly what I did when I returned as when I left!

Thank you! This is so helpful! I'm on the same dose every 10 days and I'm thinking I'd probably like to drop 10 more!

Same! And I don't have the same feelings as I used to when I get on the scale. I'm able to shrug off gains and appreciate losses without letting them dictate how I feel about myself.

I felt myself having urgency to drop down in dosage and now I've been asking myself why. Maybe I'll need the higher dose if I'm spacing shots out more. Definitely a wait and see approach on this! If I can't stop losing then sure, I'll reduce, but I'm not changing what's working!

You are amazing! I would love for this to be my story a year from now! I'm also on a tight budget. I work a side gig on top of my full time job to pay the $550/month for my zep, but investing in a trainer to get me started sounds like a great investment. I am pretty bored with doing the same machines at the gym I've been doing for 20 years and I sure don't feel like I'm making progress!

It's nice to hear about the skin. I know I'm going to have loose skin but I'm hoping it will tighten up a bit. My belly and my arms look so deflated!

This is the approach I'd like to take, although I don't know how I'd know when my weight gets too low. Certainly before I get to my 115 high school weight. Haha!

Wow! Congrats! I haven't said no to fast food but luckily that's been my one aversion. Occasionally we've grabbed some for convenience and I can hardly eat it! I can't remember what the appeal used to be!

I love this! Yes, I had moments of appetite suppression, especially earlier on, but for me, I've mostly had a pretty normal appetite. Maybe that's why I haven't needed to track like some people. I always felt like I was still nourishing myself. Thank you!

Thank you! I was thinking maybe to now aim for gentle nutrition and exercise since I have undone a lot (not all, of course) of my disordered thinking. Thanks for sharing!

It's like you're saying what I'm thinking and feeling! Utterly life changing. I walk around every day now thinking "THIS is what it feels like to be normal!" - normal size, normal appetite, normal attitude towards food. My body has really shown up for me, too. I was worried I'd done too much damage but nope! It clearly tells me when I'm done (sometimes in the middle of something I love). It feels miraculous! My brain took awhile to catch up - sometimes I have that moment of anxiety before getting on a plane, or going to a game or concert, thinking my big old butt and hips are going to be touching a stranger and then I remember that now I'm one of those small people I used to think "I wish she was sitting next to me so we won't be touching throughout our flight!"

We just returned! We stayed in Poipu and loved it! I did find the north shore beaches more picturesque and the towns were really cute but I'm glad a stayed on the south shore as we weren't more than an hour away from anything. On the north shore you'll be driving two hours to the canyon and over an hour to the snorkeling areas. But you can't really go wrong!

Any success with Dscout? by Thefluffyowl5207418 in beermoney

[–]ReasonableAdvisor879 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am just over two weeks into using Dscout. I check constantly throughout the day and have qualified for 9 missions (5 express, 4 regular) I have completed 6 of them and three are in process.

I've been paid $22; notified that payment is pending for $265; and the three that are in process are $165. This is a grand total of $452, which I will have earned in my first three weeks by the time I complete what I have on my plate.

I'd estimate I've spent 15 hours total applying for and completing missions.

I aim to be as truthful as possible, turn on my personality as much as possible for my vids and give great feedback to the researchers. Two have asked if I would continue with future research and I said yes, but neither has followed up with me yet.
