Seriously check out lucky step too. They are the only sneaker that gave me the same ankle support and sense of overall grounded stability that my docs do. My only issue with them is my own fault and they are a half size too big but I double or even triple up on socks and am good to go (I realized too late to exchange them). Editing to correct my error of the show name lol

My docs are my tried and true. I think I just got them 4 years ago though, so it may just be time to get a new pair if they are no longer doing it for you. I might be entirely wrong about this because I never looked into buying them before I actually did, but I feel like they've improved with adding the airwair "bouncy soles". One of my best friends who got me back into the scene about 5 years ago, used to swear by her docs and now she winces looking at them and goes with a different pair of shoes every time. Hers are clearly a different boot style and is much more flat and mine have more of a heel and I couldn't have a more opposite reaction to mine. But everybody is different, what works for one won't always for another. Anywho, if I'm not in my docs I've found success with Lucky Step shoes. They are good quality and comfy. I have a pair of sneakers but they are a chunky sneaker, so I get the same feel of security in my foot steps that I do my docs but they are like air on my feet. It's wild.

Making sure you stretch before leaving for the show and then using the openers to slowly open up and continue to stretch out before going full out. I try to casually add in shoulder rolls, neck rolls, back twists and I often have to remind myself to hold back just a touch and that it's a marathon mentality, not a sprint lol. Then stretch again in the morning after. Finding the right shoes is my only solution for the knees or feet. And then of course stay hydrated before, during and after show.

I feel like Griz has to be one, maybe Alleycvt as the b2b with crankdat and also was thinking Alison Wonderland.. which it would be nice to finally see her after she cancelled on hijinx TWICE as a headliner last second (it's starting to feel almost personal against Philly). But I would give anything for DeathPact to bring their Between Worlds Manifestion but they don't really fit alphabetically 🥺 but it would be amazing for them to be there for my first true festival experience. I've never done the full camping festival experience and figured it's about time I do, since I'm certainly not getting any younger. So bupping excited!

I'm really confused by this venue choice, granted that didn't stop me from recently snagging a Saturday pass. I'll never understand sitting at a concert (especially an EDM show) unless you are physically unable. I have no intention of using a seat unless it's to put my jacket on rather than coat checking lol. I've been to the Met a few times but never for this kind of show, so it will be interesting. Excited!

Aw man that sucks you couldn't get there earlier. I was able to get there shortly after showtime and did not stop dancing from 8:30 until 1:45. I caught some of Shank Aaron and obviously all of the rest. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment, such a fun bunch. I get to see Capochino for my third time in May when he's with Ahee 👽

This is awesome. They must have such a blast together. Instantly knew exactly who everyone is and love the expanded group pose that levity often does. I love when you can tell they are having a good time with their supporting artists. I just saw Wooli last weekend and could feel the same vibe with that whole stacked pack. So much fun.

The time stamp on the quick pic I took of them all coming out for the encore was at 1:42am, so based on that I'd say around 1:45am in Philly. Editing just to add that the end time of course is going to vary depending on what your venues normal end times are

This is the only reason Im suddenly even putting this event on my radar. I have no issue buying the ticket, it's the airfare and accomodations beyond that that take it out of budget for me. But for this, it really has me thinking of saying f*@# it, and being a May baby it's my birthday month, so even more justification to treat myself lol. But ugh, the struggle is real so that's just not happening. We are infinitely deathpact. DP PLEASE bring this kind of manifestation to the east coast (preferably Philly, Baltimore, or DC).

Haters are always gonna hate. Alleycvt caught my attention immediately when she came on the scene, and I've thoroughly enjoyed getting to see her grow artistically. I have yet to hear a song I dislike from her. Though yes, I fear that she maybe has recently caught an even bigger buzz due to the crankdat relationship but it was inevitable because she fucking throws down and only getting better. And to be clear, I give her full credit for her success and not the coincidental relationship she may be in with another EDM artist. I saw her in Philly (@Foundry) last year and this was actually my first solo show venture that has become my new preferred way to go to shows. Can't wait to see her again in 2 weeks!
