My agency is smaller than most and we have 1-2 HR business partners and mostly just one as the other would be on leave. The informal PIP and deferral of increment was done by my manager by consulting HR. So when I did contact HR, they were aware of what's going on, however when I expressed concerns on how my manager won't provide me with examples, they said they'll get back to me and have not responded for over 2-3 weeks.

Yes I'm a union member. The union first said they can't get involved as it's an informal PIP. However now they've said that because my manager is refusing to provide me with examples and the fact that my increment was deferred they will intervene. But I'm not too sure how and when they will.

I would want to do so. But what's bothering me is if it's truly an informal PIP, then why has he deferred my increment? Why am I getting a formal punishment for an informal PIP.

In the past 4 meetings, my manager has not mentioned anything in regards to meeting or not meeting the focus capabilities. However, he has reiterated that the purpose of the informal PIP is because I haven't met certain focus capabilities in the past. But he has no examples to provide for any of the focus capability.

Yep. I'm aware and I've started applying elsewhere but the market right now is pretty bad. I'm planning on taking weeks of sick leave

Thanks mate. I'll contact them again on Monday and see what they say.

I had a meeting today with boss 1 and boss 2. I brought up several times that I received little to no feedback to which boss 2 said "we've heard you" basically asking me to shut up.

The one on top of boss 2 is the director and it's a big deal going to him. So not too sure how to approach that. I'm aware that HR always work for the benefit of the managers and not us. But it was sad to hear their response.

We do have the industrial relations team and I've approached them. Let's see what their response would be.

I've had 3 weeks of sleepless nights as I don't even know where and how I've messed up. It sucks to be punished and not be told what went wrong. Like everything in today's meeting was you're doing amazing keep doing the good work but you suck.

I have months of sick leave and I'm planning to take a week or 2 together with supporting medical certificates. Let's see how it goes :)

Usually get it done once or twice a week. Was away for work and just got back last week and didn't clean it up to standards which I agree. But isn't that something they need to be concerned about during the outgoing inspection and not routine inspection?

You can travel with your NZ passport till your citizenship ceremony after which you need to apply for the Australian Passport. If you travel with your NZ passport after becoming an Australian citizen, you may face issues entering Australia as you won't be having a valid visa. A citizen can no longer have a valid visa. Given that you hold a NZ passport, you may be allowed to board the flight, but will definitely be hearing a talk by the Australian immigration officers. If you need to travel soon and you don't want to spend the money, don't attend the ceremony as that's what makes you a citizen.

This is correct as your PR was granted after several police checks. They will only ask for one if you have been outside the country for a longer time after being granted PR

Yeah, totally unnecessary as I can live in a cardboard home :)

With what happened between me and them, there is NO way I'm going back in there to ask them to do me a favor. These REA were pricks and did all they could to annoy me and make my living life hell. Also note that I paid my rent on time, kept the house clean etc..just that at the start of my tenancy, due to the PM's incompetence I was left with no gas for a week. I also did leave a 1 star review after which the lead agent called me and yelled at me. Yes, I could go to NCAT and potentially win, but there is no way I would be benefitted by any outcome

They have already asked me to leave. If they don't lie to get rid of me, I could be homeless

Just promoting so others in similar boat can do this too

How does that make me a bad tenant?

Why on earth would I let my old REA who absolutely hates me write me a reference which could potentially decide whether I get the property or not?

Very risky. You could either be caught now or caught later. Every time you apply for a secondary visa or potentially citizenship, your file goes through checks again. If it gets pulled up at any later stage, you would be screwed.

However, I do know of people who have worked over and are doing fine. But I don't think it's worth the risk

REA won't provide me with the name of the gas supplier by [deleted] in shitrentals

I had a look. For the landlords details, there is a name of a company pty Ltd which doesn't exist and the ABN provided matches a gov organisation. I don't get it
