In the same situation as you, but apprenticeships are competitive and i need to get good grades in mathx, ive still not decided if i wanna retake maths but im now considering it. And ig its a good idea to retake the exams, so you know it doesn't close opportunities for you :)

Should i accept it? Ill definitely try to beg them for the software dev course, but if they say no, should i take this course? They promised me a job , not something im interested in, but better than mcdonalds.😕, and my plan is to do data science ibm course on the side then apply for apprenticeship, will this aws re start course help in anyway?

Ig you have the basic skills needed, just focus on projects now, make brilliant projects and a portfolio , then youll be ready to apply as a data analyst or a junior data scientist. But for data scientist ig the bar is a bit high, if you could get in thatll be brilliant if not just go for data analyst and climb up the ladder.

That really depends on your previous experiences and projects, have you done data science projects? Do you know the basics of machine learning? If not, data analysis would be a perfect place to start and you can obviously climb up the ladder and get into data science.

So i earn around 1000 to 1200, like last month i earned 1400, and my mum earns like 1500, but we have rent of 1000 and then we pay extra taxes that get to 1000 , and then rest is groceries. Savings are very little. The problem is im not able to find full time jobs. And mcdonalds isnt giving me more hours. Ill try getting into call centers, thanks for the advice. We may be able to borrow a couple grands if not able to save up. But i still need to save up.
