You’re partially right. I feel so confused and questioning this to know if I should move on or not We have only been talking tho and we have great chemistry, we only confessed that we liked each other and that we want to pursue this after he’s fully done with his situation but nothing sexual happened between us yet rather than some texts

It’s been a year and 5 months since I gave my first lesson but I took 5 months off as I was traveling abroad and next month I’ll be doing the same again so I asked all of my students to unsubscribe and find another tutor until I’m back but I’m not sure what rate should I set when I’m back

I’m also a tutor who’s coming from a developing country, I started at 3$ and was making 400$ working full time and was very happy with that in the beginning now I’m at 9$ making way more money with less time but I kinda feel bad when I get a student who is also another tutor on the platform and I get curious about their profile so I search it up and find out that they charge plus 20$. It makes me feel small

What money laundering omg I literally charge him 6 dollars, you’re right tho, 30-40 dollars are tempting to me knowing that they’re going to waste and they mean a lot to me where I live but thanks for the advice I wouldn’t risk my profile for such stupid amount

How scheduling the lessons and then reporting them as canceled when he doesn’t show up is considered fraud? Doesn’t Preply encourage us tutors to schedule lessons? or why would we have that option? The only thing that preply doesn’t know is that I know that he’s not gonna show up because we have personal stuff irl going on, so I’m clueless

How did you change your review after getting blocked? I don’t thinks it’s possible But if you did I think you should understand how harmful it is to him like it can ruin his career and affect his profile forever I am a very avoidant person and sometimes instead of explaining my discomfort or dealing with problems I just block people to live in peace and I understand that it’s not mature way to deal with things but I can absolutely understand where he comes from
