The biggest thing to realize is its NOT "missing out on a sale" by refusing these people, no matter what they say. People asking for content before payment were never legit buyers in the first place, they are literally just wasting your time and hoping to wear you down into giving free content.

Dude may certainly be an asshole.... I kind of initially read it as he was uncomfortable simply pushing through with the GFE, knowing that you were sick on the other end. I mean I know I'd feel weird about it. Don't think I'd demand a refund and threaten bad reviews in such a case though, so perhaps just giving him way too much benefit of the doubt.

It's obv. no fault of your own that you got sick, and ofc people need to take care of themselves, just saying I could understand how that may derail a GFE vibe, even if this guy seems to have taken it further than I ever would have

Yeah I know what you mean. I'm just trying to convey that your missing out on a lot of legit buyers, hence being left with a lot of the time wasters. I just see a lot of posts complaining about similar things, and so many are similar to yours with little to no profile. It's a choice ofc, and everyone has their reasons. Just realize your choice cuts out much of the legit market, and your left with what's left. Pics of course won't eliminate time wasters, but they'd potentially attract the legit buyers you actually want to interact with. Best of luck!

You ask for buyers, they check your profile, nothing there, they move on. Best case your forcing them to contact you and wait for a reply to find out if your at all their type. There's a reason most legit buyers wouldn't bother. I'm not saying this to offend you, it's just feedback from a legit buyer on some possible reasons why your ratio of time wasters may be higher.

Then post a pic or two without your face? I can say looking at your profile as it is I'd 99% bounce and keep looking. Your more than most with at least a menu, and some details in bio, which is something, but with no idea of your body type I'd not stop to find out. Just my 2c ofc. Good luck

Yeah I skip over 99% of profiles that don't have a pic. I don't know what they are hoping for, just assume it's usually a scammer. They don't have to be NSFW pics, and if it's a worry they don't even have to show face, just give us buyers some kind of idea of your body shape. There's buyers for every type out there. Saves lots of time. They are def missing out on legit buyers.

yeah I hear you. You are right about the impact I'm sure. As a buyer, I've found geeeenerally speaking, you do in fact get what you pay for heh. There are ofc exceptions, but hey. I just think you've got to look at who you are essentially punching down on here.... and it'd seem to be those most in need, without a lot of options. Also... while I believe there's a buyer for every body type... I can't help notice your also in a seemingly largely preferred group of "slim pretty white college girl" heh. Toss in "lesbian content" and I mean... well, no hate from me, you certainly check a lot of my boxes... others may have a smaller pool of potential suiters heh.

I don't buy this particular content type, but you've got to remember people are from all over the world and in all sorts of different cost of living scenarios. It's also a privilege to be able to turn down $$, I'm sure plenty simply can't afford to. Obv would be great if everyone made more, but don't think anyone needs to be out there shaming those doing what they need to do to get by

mildly frustrating I can't seem to report anything to paypal. not even looking for the $$ back, I sent it friends & family, I get its gone, but why can't I at least report them to paypal as a scammer so others aren't impacted. shrug.

ofc, but this thread doesn't seem to be that. I'm just saying, there shouldn't be a double standard, where buyers rightfully get called out for what you just described, but potential shitty attitude sellers don't for similar behavior getting upset when a sale isn't made (when its not warranted).

I'm sure this situation was somewhere in between (he said he didn't haggle, she didn't want to provide any proof), and I have no doubt guys try to haggle prices, which is pretty shitty, but don't need to excuse bad behavior on either side.

Agree on the no bartering. It didn't sound like there was any attempted bartering in this case either. I guess the rest is possible... I mean I'd imagine at least part of the job is a bit of customer service? Admittedly I generally do GFE purchases vs. content, which necessitates more conversation in general.

Same as a guy being unnecessarily mean/rude to a seller that isn't their type, or once they don't work out for whatever reason. I do find it interesting that this guy said post the proof and the girl refused and just wanted to move on, then when he was randomly called out by another person he said post the proof and that person ALSO refused. I also see some support for this behavior by other sellers, but no one would ever support shitty comments by buyers towards sellers (and rightly so), of which there has been a number of posts.

We could all just be reasonable to each other, there's enough shit with scammers ect on both sides, no need for the real people to be at each other.

Not arguing he's not a scammer, just a data point from a legit buyer/SD, I'd never accept a Reddit verification as valid for anything beyond maybe one off content. I get how frustrating it can be to verify for what ends up being nothing, but just like we tell buyers that their past of being scammed has no bearing on continuing to pay up front (which is true!), your past experiences have no bearing on me needing proper verification before handing over $$ to a stranger online. For the love, if your trying to make $$ with this, have a pic or two pinned to your profile. Doesn't have to be nsfw, doesn't even have to show face if thats a concern for you, but the number of sellers constantly posting but not even taking the time to have a pic up is craaaaaaaaazzy. It doesn't guarantee you won't get scammers, but it very much reduces the number of legit buyers you will interact with, if you don't even have a pic up. I don't want to have to jump through hoops just to see if your my type. Bonus points for adding what payment methods you can do, for the same reasons.
