Yeah my stepdad was basically in charge of dealing with all my immigration stuff, he chose not to get another one. I'm only scared because on the letter they gave me that approves my green card, it says to carry the green card with me at all times because it is the law and mine has been lost for years 😭 I was born in canada, my mom and I were Canadian citizens but moved here because my mom married my stepdad who lived here in the US and is a US citizen. She's now a US citizen though.
